Able Home Improvements dispatched a very polite, hard-working painter. He even brought his lunch and ate on site -- taking minimal time to eat and for several short breaks to stretch...We will request his services again. My only comment for an improvement is: Able should provide their painters with extra-large drop cloth to cover a large and avoid having to move a small drop cloth so often...

Richard, the owner, came to give us an estimate to finish the flooring we had started installing ourselves. He measured every room, discussed any areas we were concerned about, and gave us an estimate before he left our home. In his estimate, all materials included, or not included were stated clearly. He was professional and punctual. His work crew was able to start when they said they would start. They worked a full day each day. Able's office manager called every day to see if we were satisfied with the day's work, and if we had any concerns. Richard came over once during the installation, and then came after the installation was completely finished. He was professional, precise, and his crew was courteous. I would recommend them and use them again.

I feel like he is honest, stands behind his work and he won’t push unnecessary work on you. I plan to use him in the future for other projects.

Richard was flexible with us since the bank kept changing the closing date. It came to the point that the carpet was being installed a day after Richard's 2 men started. They decided to start working as soon as we closed on the house. Richard and his men bought the paint as soon as we closed and called him to confirm closing. The two men stayed that night until the 3 bedrooms were done( they chose to do so on their own, not us asking) since the next day the carpet was being torn out and replaced. They finished the painting and repairing the one corner siding piece before their expected finish date. The two guys who did the work were personable and professional. They kept us updated with their timeline. Richard called us during the work to see if there was anything we needed or concerned about. Next year we are thinking about remodeling the kitchen. We will be calling Richard first. He was professional yet made us feel like we have known him for awhile.

They were prompt, efficient and did a good job. I had to call them back to re-set the toilet in the hall bath and they responded quickly. The con is that they didn't haul the trash (old flooring) away. I had to spend 2 hours bundling up the old carpet so the trash collector would pick it up. This wasn't specified in my contract and I will know better next time. Overall, very pleased with the job.
