Prism Maintenance Group

I spoke to Herb, the owner of Prism, several weeks ago.  He came by the next day to give me an estimate.  I told him the measurements of the room, and he gave me a price.  The hardwood floor had carpet on it when he came, and I knew that there might be more involved once we got the carpet up.   Every time that Herb came to our house, he was punctual, professional and friendly.  He and his son, Herb Jr. started on the room on a Wednesday.  They sanded for hours!  When they got to the point that we had agreed on, we discovered that the floor had warped a little, and it would require more sanding (and therefore would cost more) to achieve the correct finish.  He called and we consulted before he continued.  They worked nonstop all day sanding, then sanded more  by hand.  They returned the next day and put the first coat of sealer on, and then returned eight hours later and put the second coat of sealer on.  The room is gorgeous!  They did an excellent job at a reasonable price.  Herb showed so much attention to detail that he returned twice to get the screws on the threshold just right.  I would definitely recommend Herb and I will use him again in the future.
