Crappy grass! FULL OF WEEDS! If I had wanted Bermuda grass and Johnson grass I would have requested that!!!! All weeds and grass rooted in HORRIBLE clay base that makes it near to impossible to dig it up! I have huge holes where I’ve tried to rid my st Augustine of the weeds! The grass can’t even root because I’m constantly digging up weeds! I’ve told everyone I know NOT to use them and have heard HORRIR stories about grass they purchased from them!!! I hate this company and will NEVER buy grass from them EVER again!!!!!!!!!pay more because you get what you pay for!!!!!! Lowes grass is weed free and has dirt base and grows with normal new sod care! Angry customer!!!!!

They were very nice, and very personable. Told me how to take care of the grass and everything. The two ladies were very knowledgeable in how to take care of the grass.
Description of Work: I bought four palettes of a special type of grass that supposed to be very hearty. I also bought 7-8 yards of mulch.

We went in on a Saturday and talked to Meagan and Tracy. We told them we needed rock and mulch for our garden. We selected a rock that we thought we would like. They told us which mulch would be best for our garden. They told us we would need 4 1/2 yards of mulch. We weren't sure of the measurements for the rock and told them we would have to get back with them on that. They said they would need two days notice for delivery, for instance, order on Wed. for a Friday delivery. My husband explained that we weren't quite ready to place the order, but that when we did he would need it to be the first delivery since there was so much for him and was alone to do the work. They said no problem and that the first delivery is made between 8am and 9am. They explained that there would be a $100 delivery fee that would cover both the rock and mulch. After we measured where the rock would go my husband called to see how much rock would be needed. They told us 3 1/2 yards. The next Saturday morning we went in to look at the rock again, because we started thinking it would be too large. There was a girl there, that later explained she was new. She was the only one there, which I thought was awful to do to her because the phones were going crazy non stop and there was a long line of customers, before and after we arrived. She did an excellent job. She kept her cool, and was very polite. She didn't seem flustered and represented the company well. We dropped out of line and went to look at the rock. We decided to give her time to take care of everyone else while we looked at the rock. We decided what we originally selected was too large and decided on a smaller rock. We got back in line. While we were being waited on we told her we would need first delivery. A worker from outside came in and made coffee and told us the first delivery would be between 8am and 9am. This is what we were told before by Meagan. We gave the girl the measurements for the rock and she told us we would need an amount that we knew couldn't be correct, and she told us we needed to call back because she was new and she wasn't certain. We had five different places we were putting the rock, so we knew it was complicated, and we understood. Again, she did an excellent job and was very open and honest with us, which we appreciated. We called back on Monday and gave Meagan our order for the mulch and the rock, explaining which rock we decided on and the measurements. She told us we would need 3 1/2 yards of rock. Again we stressed we wanted it delivered first thing Friday am. And she said to expect delivery between 8am and 9am. We gave her our credit card info and she wrote up the sell. She was very nice. Friday am came and I left for work around 8:30. The order had not been delivered and my husband had been standing out front looking for the truck since 8am. Around 9:30 or so my husband called and said it had not come yet, so I called their office to see when it would show up. Tracy answered the phone. She said they had a problem with the truck but that they never promise a time, only morning (8-12) or afternoon. I explained that she and Meagan had told us between 8 and 9am and that she didn't say anything at that time about that not being correct. She said she didn't hear Meagan tell us that, even though she was right there with her. I told her when we were there the Saturday before we placed our order, a nice man I thought was a driver came in and made coffee and also verified between 8am and 9am rather than 8-12. She told me the drivers don't make coffee, as if I was lying to her! I told her all she needed to have done was give us a call letting us know there was a problem with the truck and we would have been fine. Instead, my husband had been waiting outside since 8am. Then she said they always call when they are on the way. I said no one told us that or my husband wouldn't have been waiting out front all that time. Very poor customer service. When I told her one phone call could have avoided all of this, she told me that they had actually been very accommodating while we kept changing our order! I told her once we placed the order we never changed it and that we gave them four days advance when they asked for two. I said I couldn't believe that she expected us to come in and just "know" what we wanted and how much, but that we only came in twice, and the second time we could have placed the order right then, but that the new girl wasn't sure about the quantity, so we waited until Monday to actually order. (She was incorrect in the total yards, so it is good that she asked us to call back on Monday.) The only change we made was the rock, and that was before the order was placed and with NO assistance! It's not like we took anyone away from their work to help us, either. She was very rude. I asked for a discount and she refused. I asked that the driver call me when he was on his way. At 11:15am the driver called me. He was very nice and said he was sorry for the delay. He arrived at the house shortly after 11:30. He was very apologetic, nice and helpful. My husband really liked him and said Mark went out of his way for him. We also have a neighborhood discount with them and they did not give us that discount either! Since they knew the address because they were delivering it, they should have given us that discount and did not. We are happy with the mulch and the rock, and the quantity we received. Meagan, the new girl, and Mark were all very nice. Tracy was extremely rude, especially by acting like she did us a favor rather than being happy to have a customer! Very poor customer service on her part.
Description of Work: We selected rock and mulch. They told us how much we would need. They delivered it. They failed to give us our neighborhood discount. They were three hours late with delivery, which would have been okay if they had called to let us know, but they did not. They told us it would be delivered between 8 and 9am and it was delivered at 11:30. I called them around 10am to find out where they were and they told us they had trouble with their truck. If they had called to let us know it would have been fine, but my husband was waiting so that he could get it shoveled where it needed to be before the day was out because we were expecting rain. 3 1/2 yards of rock, and 4 1/2 yards of garden mulch is quite a bit to shovel. So he waiting on the drive outside thinking they would be there anytime, without any notice of the change. He was not happy. Once we found out the problem, that helped, but it would have been much better for them to make a phone call and let us know the circumstances. I will say my husband really liked the driver, Mark. He was very nice and helpful. He was the very best part of this experience and a definite asset to the company.
