I called Glen Kinsey (owner of Airborne Locksmith) and told him I needed the deadbolt fixed on my glass storm door; I asked if he would replace the lock while he was here. He stated he could absolutely do that, but suggested I let him re - key the lock to save money. He quoted me a price and stated he could be there in just a few minutes. He showed up quickly, and just as quickly discovered the lock had to be dis-assembled to repair it. He took the whole lock apart, discovered the problem with the deadbolt and had it fixed within minutes. The lock wasn't as simple. It was an old one, so he ended up making me a new one from scratch. He travels with all his tools (no "I don't have that part, I'll need to come back") and so was able to rebuild a completely new lock on the spot. He presented me a bill for the quote he had originally provided. I objected because the lock wasn't just a repair after all and he had spent longer and done far more work than we first anticipated. He would not accept more, stating "he charges what he quotes". I couldn't be happier with his service and plan to use him for ALL future locksmith needs.
