+ -1 moreDecided to try to add a new circuit to resolve the problem, but the electrician was not convinced that was the necessary fix. He did some more checking and found the problem. The problem was not apparent so the electrician decided to try to check in an unobvious location. This included dismantling outlets which eventually proved successful. Saved a lot of time and money by not giving up on the problem. The electrician really seemed concerned and I would definitely use them again. To be honest, I will just call them right off the bat without looking around any further.
Description of Work: Help homeowner track down open circuit and repair. This restored power to a circuit that went dead.

+ -1 moreI called Kurt Melancon Enterprises because they wired my house when it was built. They came out immediately, made it their business to find a VERY tall ladder to reach the problem, returned, investigated the issue, and were able to fix the problem themselves while on the roof. And then after all this only charged me $80.00. The fan had a minor problem and didn't need to come off of the roof. They saved me a great deal of money!
Description of Work: The motor for my cook top's fan is commercial grade and is on the roof. The motor began making noise and the appliance people said they could no longer climb on the roof because of insurance issues. So they suggested that I call an electrician to take the motor off of the roof, bring it to them for repair and then call the electricians to replace it. All is all a very costly process.

+ -1 moreVery professional and prompt, doing the work in a very efficient manner. We have used these guys before and have always had excellent service from them at a fair price. Best in the area, in my opinion.
Description of Work: Came out to check on a short on the breaker box which was causing sparking on the electric pole. Interior lights were flickering in our house. Repaired one line to our swimming pool, checked the carport light, utility room light and did some repairs to make sure they were safe. Suggested we call local utility company to correct the problem.
