These people are unbelievably good, nice, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond. They cleaned up as they went, went to neighbors to get permission to clean up the debris that had fallen in their yards, and asked along they way how we liked what was being done. Kelly does the planning and estimates and Albert leads a friendly and respectful team in doing what needs to be done and explaining the 'why's' of his expert reasoning. We were impressed beyond our hopes and limited expectations of their professionalism...and they left our yard in immaculate shape. These are good people to do business with. They are thorough in reviewing needs and professional in their work. They arrive promptly, work steadily, and go above and beyond. Arrived on time as agreed and the work was done very professionally. They did a great job on the live oak tree in the back yard, " I don't think it was ever trimmed". What was more impressive was the clean after the job, my wife sent me a picture of the job being done and there was tree limbs about knee deep while they were doing the job, but at the end of the job not a leaf was left on the ground. No tracks not a trace that anyone did such a big job other than the tree itself looking cleanly trimmed. There was one issue but it was discussed and handled. My wife was very happy with the job that was done and has bragged on the great job performed. We will use them next time we need this service.

Promptly returned our call. Showed up to provide a bid at the designated time. Was able to complete the job on a date earlier than promised. Friendly, polite workers who did a professional job and completely cleaned up the site.

Kelly was prompt in meeting all needs during scheduling arrangements. She is very well experienced in her line of work and she and her crew offer professional and courteous service. The scope of work was executed promptly while offering the best price and most respectful bid compared to other tree service providers. I repeat '' they were prompt and efficient.'' If they say it, they live it out. Regarding the work itself, they did not use heavy machinery so this was a plus in keeping the yard in tact. End result...trees look outstanding and we received high compliments from friends and neighbors. Our backyard is now very inviting plus a safer environment for the kids to play in. They guys worked very hard and have great ethics. They meet your needs during the process and are not intimidated by the customer's pickiness. They aim to please! As an extra, they trimmed the Magnolia in the front and cleaned out old piles of tree debris along the back. Yard was completely raked, including areas that were not even disturbed from the work that was performed. This saved me more time and money! On a final note, it's great to see such a service exist with high regard for pleasing the customer.

After calling three tree services, Kelly was the the ONLY one who returned my call. She came out the next day to evaluate the crepe myrtle and her crew was here three days later to complete the work. I asked Kelly not to commit crepe murder on my tree, just to clean it up and get rid of the dead limbs. She understood what I wanted and assured me the tree would look much better when they were done. Everyone was very punctual and called ahead to make sure I would be home. Alex and his team did a great job. They were very detailed in their work, getting all the branches they trimmed out of the tree. They cleaned up everything when they were done and you would not even know they had been here except the crepe myrtle looks 100% better. This property and house, neglected for several years was overgrown with trees and brush; the house was covered with vines and had tallow trees growing very close to it. I called several Angle's List 'A' rated tree services and left messages. Kelly answered the first time I called and was very professional from the start. I told her what I needed, she was confident she could do the work so we scheduled an appointment. My brother, who showed her the property, told me that she was prompt, professional and thorough. He was so impressed with her that he felt we didn't need to consider anyone else. Due to the overgrowth of trees, brush and vines we also felt her price was fair. The crew showed up on time and as scheduled every day they worked. The before and after pictures look like two different properties?.the change is that remarkable. The only work left is stumps to grind?the amount of rain over the last few days has made it impossible to bring that equipment on the property. Kelly has assured me that it will be completed once the water dries. I'm very confident that she'll do finish the work. Without reservation or hesitation, I would rehire Arbor Care of Acadiana. 'Excellent' describes them very well.

Arbor Care was hired to grind two stumps and haul the remaining chips away. Kelly was very knowledgeable and efficient. She did a fantastic job of clearing away the debris in order to have the soil ready for our landscaper. Kelly is very professional and I would highly recommend her service.

Kelly was very timely and professional; she was able to give me a quote the same day. The work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. The job site was left very clean and I experienced no headache or hassle with the transaction. Kelly made the job easy and provided all appropriate consulation etc. If I ever require any further tree service, I know who to call.

When Kelly came to give the estimate she was very well informed. Gave me a lesson about how to measure the growth of the tree, how old it was, how to maintain its health and exactly what they would do and why. Really know what they're doing. Came quickly and worked efficiently and removed all debris. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a good professional job done.

These guys were great. A crew of four came on February 5 & 6, 2014. Cut a very large double trunk mulberry that had wire rope entangled in bark. Also cut a very tall (70 to 80 foot tall) pecan tree, a redbud tree, and various smaller trees. They hauled all trunks, branches to street, raked & used blower to clear driveway. They even went into neighbor's yard & cleaned up any branches that fell there. Bobcat removed all debris & loaded into trucks. Kelly will come later to grind stumps. I would highly recommend them. They worked in freezing temperatures with icy drizzle falling at one point. They are professional. I am appreciative of work done.

The job was complicated by the close proximity of several houses, a garage and a neighboring middle school campus. There was very little room for the equipment required to do the job. Kelly coordinated all the work in a relatively efficient manner. She contacted the middle school and gained access for some of the large equipment, she agreed to grind an existing stump in a neighbors yard for free in return for equipment access to the large Red Oak. The actual removal of the trees was accomplished safely and efficiently with little to no inconvenience to my neighbors or the middle school. The stump grinding was done to my satisfaction and the clean up after the work was done was excellent.

I had a bunch of unwanted trees/bushes removed. They were in a narrow, difficult to assess area between my wooden fence and a coulee that runs behind my home. Kelly was very responsive as was here crew. They did the work in record time, went out of there way to avoid taking fence panels down (even though that was the original plan), cut the stumps very low to the ground, took 100% of leftovers (stick, twigs, leaves) away with them and left no trace they had been there except for my beautiful new view. I even requested an additional tree removed midway through the project and they accommodated with ease. Kelly even mentioned my existing landscapers were putting too much mulch around my Oak tree; saving me from future root rot (thanks Kelly). A great experience and one in which I felt worth posting; something I rarely do.

I was in a pickle and needed to get a stump ground that was in an unusual area THAT DAY due to some landscaping work beginning the next day. I called Kelly at about 11:45 and she was at my house within the hour to look at it. She offered me a price and I agreed (I was in need of a miracle and she provided it). THIS WAS A DIFFICULT AND COMPLICATED JOB! The price was reasonable for what I was asking and her and her staff were second to none that have been to my house to do tree work. They cleaned the deck and site well before leaving. She left us satisfide and stated that if you find any problems, we'll fix them. Her and her company WILL get a call back from me! Thank you Kelly and Staff!

Will know the final results in a year or so. I chose this company because the woman had a very logical explination for everytihing she suggested to do for my sick trees.

This took 2 days as planned. They took their time and did a great job. They called Slemco to take a power line down because some of the limbs were hanging over the lines and it would not have been safe to cut them with the line up. I thought this was a very good idea. They picked up and cleaned up as they went, even raking the leaves in the yard, that were left behind. All the limbs and branches and leaves were neatly piled up at the side of the road and they told us that they would be picked up as soon as they were finished. I thought they were going to leave and then someone else was going to show up and pick it all up, but they stayed and continued to rake the leaves and pick up small branches that the big scoop would miss. This process was done very quickly and not a leaf left in the yard. I was very impressed. I was asked to go and look at the trees and see if they were like we wanted them to be. They looked great. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the care and concern that was given to their work. They had to work really hard climbing up and down the tall ladders and in the trees. I think that they more than earned their money and if we could have afforded it, I would have paid them more. I was amazed at just how much work it was. It was harder than I thought. On that note - I had not paid total attention to the first paper that I was given by Kelly, but she had written how to write the check out. I called her to see how I could pay by using my credit card, since we don't keep that much $$ in our checking account, like I guess most people - anyway - she told me that they did not accept credit cards - so I had to go to the back and transfer $$ from our savings account to our checking account, to be able to cover the check. I should have paid attention, but almost every company today takes credit cards, so I just figured they would too. Oh well. Just an F.Y.I. All the guys were very nice and polite and made me feel very comfortable watching them. I took pictures, but I don't know how to put them on the computer, so they will have to wait until my husband gets home from work. Kelly had told me to be sure a take some before and after pictures, so we could really see the difference & many people don't think about doing that until it is too late, so I am glad she mentioned that. I had no idea they had gotten so big in such a short time (40 years). She also told us what to buy to pour around them to keep the bugs out and off of them to help them be healthier trees. They said to call them back should we need anything or have any questions.

Kelly porvided professional advice on trimming my live oaks after the City contract crews butchered the back side of them. She advised me to only trim moderately this year due to the amount cut already. The price was very reasonalbe for the amount of trimming Arbor Care performed. They showed up on my preferred date, a few minutes early and were very professional and friendly. My yard was cleaner after the trimming than before. I will deffitely use them again in the future.

The service exceeded my expectations. They were at my home before the appointed time of 7:00AM, and waited until 7:00AM before starting up their chain saws because of the noise in the morning. Very professional, very safety conscientious. Personable and timely. Started at :7:00AM and they finished at 3:00PM. Kelly came by the same day that I called Arbor and gave us a reasonable appraisal and estimate, and an approximate date for tree removal dependent upon weather (cease work in rain) and the three appointments ahead of us. When Mr. Trahan?s crew arrived, they were courteous, friendly, highly competent and professional. My husband was impressed with their expertise in keeping tree parts clear of neighbors? yards. The job took the better part of two days. They had equipment that allowed them to take the wood out through a narrow gate to the front. Also, they had a stump grinder that was narrow enough to come through the gate. No crane was needed. The brush and wood were piled up in the front on the street (one lane was blocked for a few hours during the early afternoons ? not a heavily trafficked time on our sleepy suburban street) and they had a very large truck haul it all away. The cleanup was immaculate each afternoon ? not a scrap or leaf was left in the street. The stump grinding went deep and left much fertile oak mulch for other flowerbeds and for this patch of ground where the stump was. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that they had the Gulf South pipeline and the city send notices reminding me to call for pipeline and electrical markers ahead of time. Everything was seamless. Excellent job at a great price. This was the third bid and the best. Based off the other recommendations on Angies list I picked them. Everything went well from the bid to the cutting and the cleanup. Kelly helped explain what was to be done and why, she answered all our questions. The crew was great to work with. They helped us maintain a good look and preserve as many large trunks as possible. They continually adjusted as we looked at the progress. All the crew were polite and hard warking. They did a great job cleaning up and did a great job taking care of the neighbors lawn where the tree overhang had to be trimmed. I am extremely pleased and would recommend Arbor Care to anyone who asked.
