The work took approximately two and a half days due to the variety of projects to be done. All of the projects went well, but the removal of the ceramic tile around the fireplace and hearth proved to be challenging. The house is 25 years old and it appeared to be the original floor. The owner of Paramount Glass was present, both working and supervising the helpers, the entire time. This is extremely important to me because it indicates the owner is professional, really cares about the customer and the quality of the work. The owner shows respect for the customer and the property. He made sure everything was cleaned up and discarded the carpet and trash. I am making a new list of projects where I will use Paramount Glass!

Jonathan explained the city codes regarding the replacement of glass panes on front door entryways (it had to be done with safety glass, tempered glass, or laminated glass). We chose the tempered glass as we could not afford to replace the original old (wavy) glass that had been in the door. He was prompt in responding to my calls and explained what he would have to do in order to obtain the tempered glass we needed. It had to be ordered from a place in Baton Rouge, which would require a couple of days. He urged them to do it for us as quickly as possible as Christmas was only a few days away, and we wanted to have the door fixed before that event. On the 23rd of December Jonathan called early in the morning to let me know that the glass was ready and he and his assistant (young son Jonathan) would be able to stop by and install it immediately. They came within the hour for the installation. I took time out to watch the entre process. Jonathan took great care in removing the broken shards of glass and even more care in removing the 100-year-old wooden molding. He then cleaned the entire frame and put in a bead of clear silicone, inserted the glass, and reset the wood molding. When the job was complete, he cleaned the window with ammonia free, streakless window cleaner, swept up the floor, and pronounced the job complete. It was terrific work.

It went great. Jonathan answered our call and scheduled a time to come see our needs. He was on time for the consultation. He was courteous and professional. He listened to our needs and have good input. His estimate came back same day and was fair. We scheduled the work and he showed up on time. The install went smooth. He kept things clean and was friendly. I would recommend them for glass work.

I had broken the glass in one of the doors on my china cabinet. The glass was beveled and scalloped at the top - not a straight edge. I called a few local glass companies and Paramount was the only one that I found that could do a curved edging. All the other companies would only do straight edges. The price of this panel was more than I had expected. The curved edges and the beveling drove up the price. Jonathan was extremely accommodating. He came out right away, took the measurements of the panel, and made a template. About a week later, he came back to install it. The new glass panel matches exactly to the others in the china cabinet. Jonathan was very punctual and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We bought our first home and were thrilled with nearly every feature of the house, except the giant mirror wall in the living room. One entire wall was covered from floor to ceiling, corner to corner in mirrored glass. My wife and I agreed ... it had to go! Understanding that this was a job for the professionals, I called Paramount Glass to get an estimate for removal. From day one they were the consummate professionals. They were able to remove all 4 panels of glass without a single crack or chip. They also offered to dispose of the glass for us, but we requested that they leave the panels in our garage as my wife has a Pintrest project in mind for them. I can't find any pictures of the wall before the work, but I've attached an "after" picture. As you can see, they were able to remove the glass without any real damage to the sheetrock behind the glass. A little scraping, sanding and painting and the wall was good a new!

From start to finish, Jonathan gave us all the options and his thoughts as to the best direction we should go with our glass enclosure. We chose a textured glass with brushed nickel finished hardware. They were very professional, they didn't smoke, curse or play offensive music. When they were finished everything was cleaned up including the floor and glass. I would use and recommend Paramount Glass to anyone in the future.

I bought some wood from the Green Project that I wanted to make into the frame of a mirror for my master bathroom. I called Paramount to get and mount the mirror. He had great ideas on how to do the mirror because I wanted it to be about 5 foot wide by 3 foot tall. He had great expertise on how we should do the mirror. I couldn't be happier with the service and the price was very fair (especially considering the time he consulted me on how we might want to do the job.) I couldn't be more pleases.
