Craig, the owner of the company returned my call within a few hours of my contacting him. He set up an appointment to meet with me and determine the scope of work that needed to be done, the next day. I had contacted three other roofers (from Angies' list!!!) who refused to install skylights. We agreed on the price, and Craig ordered the skylights and upon receipt, we scheduled the work (dependent on the weather). Craig and his crew are very professional, clean and thorough. Other than two beautiful new skylights , one would never know that they had cut two holes in the roof, cut tiles, remove and install drywall,and then paint! No scratches, dents, dings, drops... I have dealt with several contractors over the years in several states, and in two different countries, none have been as professional as American Men Roofing!! Craig is a man one can trust based upon a handshake! I would highly recommend American Men Roofers, they take pride in their work...it is in their name!

I don?t like to call people names, but if you don?t use Craig for your roofing needs you are just plane dumb. Craig was the third contractor to come out and give me an estimate on a leak I had on my patio. He was the only one on time. I was a bit cautious when he gave me his estimate. It was hundreds less then the other guys. But, he looked me in my eyes and guaranteed his work. He did the job and I waited for the next big rain. Well, it still had a little leak. This wasn?t really his fault. You see, I put on a flat roof with shingles and the water was pooling up. Regardless, I called him up and he drove from Metairie to Slidell. Again, we waited for a big rain. When it did rain again the leak moved to another spot. Again, this wasn?t his fault due to my lack of craftsmanship. Long story short, Craig came out three times all the way from Metairie to back up his guarantee. He called me to check on the job and never once asked for more money. I even offered to pay for materials on the last fix. He refused. It?s a rare to find a contractor who backs up his work like Craig. Like I said, don?t be dumb. Use this man for your roofing needs.

It went very well. They came when they said they would and took extra care to protect my dad's carport. That was our concern. Four men and came and the job was completed and cleaned up quickly. Definitly would use them again.

They visited the site, gave me a price, and performed the work a few days later. It took them (two guys) less than six hours and they got $700 for the shingle and flashing repairs. I liked their responsiveness and professional demeanor, so I asked them about some additional work. They must have felt that I was ripe for the hit, because their price on the additional work was very high. Unfortunate, they are nice guys, but I can't afford their prices.

Craig came out on a Sunday and fixed the leaking roof. He was responsive and communicated clearly both before, during and after the job was completed. He came out after he finished the job to ensure it was all good.

We've been fighting two leaks in a metal roof over an addition we put on our double shotgun home three years ago. The original contractors are long-gone, and we finally gave up on trying to chase down the leaks ourselves. Called American Men Roofing because of the positive reviews on Angie's List, and Craig Gironda was at our house the next day to give us an estimate. He assured me that he would be doing the work himself, and sure enough he returned on the agreed upon date and time with two helpers, and they lifted the metal roof panels, located the leaks and repaired with neoprene, sealing foam that he had sourced from our local roofing material manufacturer (Corrugated Industries), and some additional metal flashing material. It's rained twice since the repairs and no leaks! Craig guarantees his repair for a year in the event the drips to come back, but at this point we're hoping we don't have to call him until we have other roofing needs -- at which time he'll be the first call we make.

Showed up on Wednesday to evaluate the job. Was prompt, coureous, and professional. Came back next day with a helper and completed the job in about 45 minutes. I couldn't be happier with the results. I will definitely call this company the next time I need repairs.

Craig was extremely punctual. I called him on Wednesday and the work was performed the next day. His price was fair. He and his employees were extremely professional, polite and have helped to restore my faith in contractors. He reassured me that should any problems occur with the work that he performed, he would promptly take care of it. He was professional enough to provide a follow-up call the next day during an extreme thunderstorm to see if everything was ok.

I called Craig from American Men Roofing to estimate the cost to replace the upper rear roof of my home in it's entirety, as well as the 10 inch metal fascia on both sides of my home damaged during Isaac. Craig was at my home on time the next morning. I felt the price was extremely fair. My home is just over 5,000 square feet, so the area that needed replacement was quite large. I appreciate that Craig doesn't use subcontractors. Craig and his employees were prompt, courteous and efficient. I managed to put this project off since Hurricane Isaac, because I dread dealing with the roofing process and have not had positive experiences with contractors in general...EVER. Craig promised me it would be hassle-free...It actually was. This was the best experience I've had with a contractor by a country mile. Craig did what he promised, when he promised, and did a meticulously beautiful job. I will definitely use them again, and would not hesitate to recommend American Men Roofing to anyone looking for quality roof work at a fair price.
