White Glove Treatment

We had some pretty extensive remodeling done so our house was extremely dusty. They sent two ladies who arrived close to 8am. The rate was $60/hour. I expected one bedroom (the other was full of boxes), the living room, both bathrooms and the laundry room to be cleaned. After four hours and $240, the shower and laundry room were still not cleaned. We asked them to stop because I was not willing to pay $300. I called Shirley to tell her that I was disappointed with the service, but she was not willing to make it right. It is unfortunate because they did a nice job, but nobody should ever expect to pay $240 for approx. 800 sq. ft. I am still looking for a weekly service - if anyone has any suggestion.

They did an initial deep cleaning and I've scheduled them for a bi-monthly service. The did an excellent job! I hope I can afford to keep them. The best cleaning ever.

These ladies are top notch! Aside from being so pleasant and friendly, they are a wonderful cleaning team. I'm going to call them my cleaning angels because my house was in need of a major overhaul and they gave it to me. Very reasonably priced will use them again!

Mrs. Shirley and Cookie were wonderful! I have never had anyone clean my house with so much detail. I have used several cleaning services in the past and while the others were quick, their attention to detail was severly lacking. If you want someone who will clean your house and every nook and cranny, then this is the company that you will want to use. The cost was more that I anticipated but Mrs. Shirley was very clear what she charged per hour up front. I guess there is some truth to you get what you paid for. She was worth every penny. She does not cut corners. I will definitely use her in the future. You won't be disappointed.

The ladies commented on their arrival that it didn't look like that much work. They had two people come over for cleaning and only cleaned the downstairs. They were older ladies and did a good job. My only concern is that it took them 4 hours. I would use them in the future, but my preference would be someone who does work a little quicker and is not as costly.

Clearly, Joan Rougon and Shirley Clarke lived up to excellent ratings reflected in other reviews. For us, having the same people clean each time is a plus. Yes, we would recommend them. They offer a Deep Cleaning as well as a General Cleaning of one or more areas of a house. We think that both services are important and recommend that potential clients discuss their particular needs with the ladies.

With a home wedding closely on the horizon, I needed my 2900 sq. ft. 1-1/2 story house deep cleaned, particularly baseboards, light fixtures, interior doors, and exterior of cabinetry downstairs, and said if they could not get to the upstairs 3 bedrooms and bath, I would be ok with that. My main concern were the high and low woodwork, cabinetry, interior doors, and light fixtures in the downstairs foyer with stair banister, den, breakfast area, kitchen, living room, dining room, half-bath powder room, master bath, and possibly master bedroom. They cleaned a few pieces of wooden furniture in the den very nicely although I now wish they would have skipped that in favor of more important areas. These are 2 very nice, trustworthy, hardworking ladies who do a very good job. I thought $30/hr. per person ($60/hr. total) to be a little on the high side, but wanted a thorough job in areas my wedding guests would readily see. I did not require bath or kitchen fixtures and appliances or floors to be cleaned. Based on Angie's list reviews, I agreed to the price. After a little over 9 hours, they could not finish but a few rooms (less than half), but they did a good job on the few rooms they did do. They offered to come back and finish the rest of the house, but I didn't think I could afford to pay any more. I suspect the job was more than they expected with routed baseboards, other millwork, many paneled cabinet and interior doors, 2 chandeliers, and a ceiling fan. I think they were disappointed that they could not finish, but I knew they did the best they could. I have since finished the job myself with less expensive help. I would hire them again, but only for smaller/less extensive areas.

Great experience when they cleaned my home.

The two ladies came early and stayed for 7 1/2 hours doing a general cleaning of the house. They were courteous, thorough, and did an excelleny job of cleaning my house.They book fast and several weeks in advance, so don't call them thinking you can schedule for the following week. However, they are worth the wait.

They performed a "deep clean" on a home we were moving into. They washed kitchen cabinets and appliances inside and out. They cleaned cabinets, ceiling fans, light fixture, windows, counters, doors, bathrooms - everything to bottom. Also mopped and vacuumed!

Ms. Joan called me back immediately and went out of her way to accommodate my schedule. They arrived promptly on time and got right to work. Two workers were here for 5 hours and did a deep, thorough job of cleaning my home. I am very impressed and will definitely use them again! I highly recommend them, especially if you like detailed cleaning. So many companies today do a superficial job of cleaning, only doing the bare minimum to give the appearance of "clean," but these ladies left my house in amazing shape! Planning on booking them on a regular basis!

These ladies aren't cheap, and aren't fast, but they do amazing work. They are very thorough. My kitchen and bathrooms sparkled! We'll use them again whenever we need someone to clean!

I was very happy with them. It was Joan Rougon and Shirley Clark. They came 4 or 5 times. They started coming the end of August into September. They charged $20-$25 per hour. They generally stayed about 3 hours. I was very satisfied. They were thorough and I liked the two women. They were friendly and professional. I enjoyed having them in the house. She volunteered to bring her own rug cleaning machine which she said wasn't something she generally did. The price was very fair.

Very wonderful ladies! More than on time, recommendations were made and were done in more than I could expect. House soooo clean, I can breath again. A whole new home smell and cleanliness. Superb. I would recommend to anyone!!!

They arrived promptly and worked and worked and worked! they cleaned walls, fans, floors, light fixtures, appliances, cabinets, bathrooms. Everything in the house was touched. A beautiful job! And they had all the equpment necessary to get the job done!Also, I had an exterminator arrive while they were there and they made sure to contact me before allowing anyone in the house while I was away...and the inspector took his shoes off! I just love it! What beautiful ladies!

After two days (20 hours total, 30 minutes for a lunch break) I can say I wouldn't hesitate to hire either lady again for they truly live up to their company's name and are a pleasure to work and converse with.

Contacted Ms. Joan on Saturday, Mar. 3 to see if they could clean our house prior to our family coming to town for a visit. Although our request was on short notice, Ms. Joan was able to rearrange her schedule to accommodate us. We agreed that she and Ms. Shirley would start at 7:30 am, and I was very pleased that they arrived 10-15 minutes early, and ready to go! From the very start, both ladies were extremely professional and pleasant. Following a quick run-through of the house, they immediately began cleaning. I felt no hesitations about leaving for the day. When I came home at lunch, they were still busy, and had completely cleaned the front of the house and had begun in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We clean our house, but these ladies CLEAN the house. Very detail oriented. We were extremely pleased with the results and expect we will have them back often. They really seem to like what they do, and are sincerely interested in making sure you are pleased with their work.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of work done in my home. They arrived at approximately 8:30 a and left my home about 3:30-4:30 p. This was the third time they came to my home for the job. These ladies are extremely professional when coming into the home, asking what the customer wants and explaining in detail everything they will do, including taking time to do the job as long as it takes. They strive to clean with the utmost attention given to every detail. However, in my opinion, by approximately 3 pm they began to slow down and wanted to rush to finish the job. When agreed to pay the extra to have some extra deep cleaning done, they rushed through the job in order to finish for the day and leave. They were obviously exhausted. I would have been! A few days later I found my shutters and fans dusty. Apparently they didn't clean them as promised. I was sadly disappointed but due to my neglect, didn't call them to complain. As their ad says, they guarantee their work. I'm sure they would have come back to re-do the job. Overall, Joan and Shirley are hard working Christian women who work hard to maintain their good reputation as such. They really are happy and loving women whom I enjoyed having in my home!! I would love to have them more often but the cost prohibits. My one complaint is the cost charged to have my home cleaned. I strongly believe that $40 p/h is much too expensive for cleaning services in the home. Each woman demands $20 p/h each. I understand that but felt stuck and forced to pay such exuberant prices because I needed the help to have my house cleaned. Yes, I would happily have them in my home again because of the quality of work they do. I would, however, love to be able to pay a smaller fee. :D

Great attention to detail, very professional,very trustworthy, very accommodating and polite. if you need your home super clean this is the company. I would definitely hire this company again and would highly recommend.

The quality of their service was excellent although the initial cost was more than we thought but our house had not been thoroughly cleaned in five years with kids and pets. We would recommend them highly and plan to have them clean twice a monthly in the future.

They were okay and did a good job. There were 2 people and it was $25 an hour each.
