Everything was done in less than 3 months. A few minor hick-ups along the way, no one specifically at fault just things happen but Scott was more than willing to go the extra mile to solve all problems and make us happy - which we are!

He was scheduled to be at my home at 4;30p on July 5th, but he never showed up. I called him and he never returned my call. My son took off an hour from work to be here. I wish he would have called to let us know he was not coming.

Scott Allen and his crew were here at 7AM the first day ready to start work. They were all professional and courteous. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done. Scott was helpful and accessible. He always took my calls and answered my questions. He was also regularly on site. The crew obviously took pride in their work. I had one cabinet I never used and didn't like. They remodeled it, and now it is very handy. They all were willing to work with me and talk things out; for instance, when I was not sure what type of light to put up in the kitchen. We discussed it and they gave me several ideas. It seemed to me as if we were all working as a team. Remodels are difficult, but Scott and his crew helped to make this one run smoothly. The result is that my home has been transformed. The remodel took about 3 weeks, which is what Scott told me from the beginning. I had flooring installed by another provider and Skilled Contractors returned after that to install the molding and do touch-ups. I am very happy and would definitely recommend Skilled Contractors to anyone contemplating remodeling their home.

Steve responded to my call for an estimate very quickly, and arrived when he said he would. He was very nice and courteous. We discussed various projects I needed done around the home. He said he would send me an estimate, which he did a few days later. The estimate was very confusing, and had some obvious errors regarding the scope of work and price. Some items were also very high ($125 to remove 12' of gutter that took me all of 3 minutes and a screw gun to do myself). I emailed for clarification, and Steve did promptly send back a new quote, but the new quote was almost as confusing as the old one. I also emailed for a quote regarding some carpentry work under the house, and send pictures to outline what needed to be done. I never received a response on it. Ended up going with someone more reasonably priced, but Steve was very courteous and seemed knowledgeable.

I was really pleased with their service and overall quality. They walked me through the entire process of working with our insurance company to file the claim and quotes for replacement. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had my home inspected to prepare for a sale. Steve came out and fixed all of the details that they found, to get it ready to sell. We'd had a big storm and he was able to fix a leak in the roof, too. They are quite responsive and punctual. I'd use them again without question.
