Absolute Termite Control

We used Absolute for the first time to address a termite infested home. Not only was the infestation serious, but the logistics of the job were complicated and inconvenient. Other vendors would have left us with disappointing results.....but Tony at Absolute were absolute Pros! They handled the difficult logistics with decorum and finesse. Pair that with their knowledge of termite eradication, they will be our go-to exterminators for the Lakeland area. Tony's exemplary work ethic is hard to find these days - so when you find someone willing to work, work hard and work correctly....you don't let them get away. Tony, thank you for everything you are handling for us. It's truly appreciated.

I have a termite contract that was inherited from the previous homeowners. I continued their services because it was already set up and convenient. I have paid my annual contract renewal promptly and on time every year. However I called to get a record of the termite contract. When I called they stated that I had not paid this year‘s contract renewal. I was very confused because I had done this just a couple of months prior. They said that they had records showing that I had paid in April 2019 for the 2018–2019. I had to go back through all of my bank records and send them pictures of the cashed checks from 2018 and 2019 showing that my balance has had been paid. I am miffed at their general recordkeeping in the past. But chalked it up to an old operating system. If I hadn’t kept such good records for myself, I would have ended up paying for my annual contract two times! They explained the double billing back to back because their computer system apparently doesn’t alert them for an entire year that a bill has been unpaid? I asked several times why I would have received two bills back to back, and they explained that their system only alerted them yearly about overdue bills. This seems like an odd way to do business. I was also very disappointed when I bought a new home that did not have a termite contract. I called Absolute to get a quote since I had used them before at my previous home. When they came to do the quote, the inspector who came did not even bother to look under the house and basically just stood in front of my house for about 10 minutes shuffling papers around and then handed me a quote that was hand written on a scratch of paper. How could you really know what needs to be done in terms of termite prevention and treatment if you don’t even go under the house or even look under the house to see what needs to be done? I was thoroughly disappointed and I will not be using this company again.

Not well. Terribly. Either bad record keeping, or not reminding customers under contract to have services done.

Fantastic. Learned about the life cycle and social structure of termites, the history of termite treatments in New Orleans, and so much more! Really knowledgeable, this is all he does and he does it well, I feel very confident that I won't be seeing active termites on my property any more. I tried the DIY route for 2 years after first finding termites in the shed, and I wish I had just called Absolute back then instead of wasting time and money trying to do it myself.

Absolute was very responsive and great at communication, they confirmed the appointment and came out at the exact time agreed. They were thorough and explained everything very well. Then the service was scheduled and they came out and performed it exactly as promised. I would definitely recommend them.

They are the highest rated. All the chemicals they use for termite is 100% guaranteed. They gave me all the things I wanted to know. It's all in my checklist. They covered all that I needed. They came out for the inspection. It probably took a week and a half for that, and a month before they can actually do the job because they had such a backlog. Everything is fine. I thought it would take longer than it would actually. Because I had some of the dug in place not by them but from whoever I bought the house from, and they can use some of it for digging for traps. He quoted me for $900. I have a double house with 2 sides and they quoted me one price for all of it or $300 for the single side. Usually everyone I know had $900 for each house. He didn't say he has to do all that work so he's going to charge me double. I like the guys Angie's List highly recommends. It has been working out pretty well. He was really great talking to me. He gave me more information than I could ever know about termite and how to treat them. It was amazing! He was very thorough. He invited me to go under the house to show me exactly what he was talking about and pointed it out. It was great. He answered my question and he's going to show me exactly what he's going to do. He called me twice to remind me of the time and when they are coming out. They are really on it. They want to make sure I was home from work and all that stuff, and reminder like a weekend at a time so that's great. They have just been highly recommended by businesses and residences that used him that found them on Angie's List as well. It was confirmed by several people in my neighborhood.

It went well. They are always on time. The person that answers the phone for the company is great and very responsive.

I've dealt with the professionals at Absolute Termite on four occassions, and I have been pleasantly surprised each time. Chris did a good job on the initial pre-purchase inspection. He took his time and made sure I was aware of any potential issues. After I purchased the home, the initial treatment team was prompt, professional, and pleasant. They answered all my questions about the product and its application. After I had some new structures added to the home (deck and condensor platform) and found some hidden damage near the chimney, they scheduled a follow-up treatment to make sure my home remains completely covered. The second treatment team had some equipment issues on the company's third visit to the home, but further inspected the home and was able to send a functional crew out within a reasonable time. Everyone (from Connie, who answers the phone and schedules the teams, to the inspectors and treatment teams) is knowledgeable and enjoys getting rid of these house-destroying pests.

Inspector showed up on time and called. He was very through and gave me a termite inspection certificate. It was very easy to schedule an appointment.

I just got around to having my house treated, but Absolute came recomended by my real estate agent 9 months ago when I bought the house and used them for a termite inspection. For the inspection the guy looked though out my attic and under the house and then reported the damage he found and gave me an estimate for treatment and a contract. For the treatment the guys explained what they would be doing, and got right to work under the house. They were efficient but also very thorough and did not take short cuts. Very professional and cost was the same as the estimate I was given 9 months prior. I would recommend them to a friend.

I am a real estate agent and use his services often. He is very professional and does a good job. He definitely knows his business and is good at it. He's competitive as far as cost is concerned. I would highly recommend him to anyone... he's actually the only one that I use!

Great job performing the termite inspection, very thorough. Recommended setting up a preventative plan, which I plan on doing.

The inspector was somewhat offish. Unfortunately when he went to the backyard, our dog went after him and made a teeth mark on his leg that loked like a bad scratch -- no real bleeding. The very next day we received a notice from an attorney. And even though the person would receive worker's compensation, he is looking for additonal monies. He did say that he was in pain nor was the reaction one of a person who was in pain or any discomfort. I cannot recommend the services of a compnay that has employess that are ready and willing to sue a cutomer whenever an accident occurs. Specially minor incidents that can easily be resolved.

I've been with Absolute since 2005, and I would not consider switching. The owner is very knowledgable and has given me service and advice above and beyond my expectations. Since their initial treatment, I have not had any termite action in my home.

We've used Dave twice. Once on a house in Gretna that was INFESTED with live formosan termites (including a tree out front) and again on a second house in Metairie that was clean as a whistle. He's great and works well with our home inspectors. He's a funny, casual guy, but totally on top of it. We've been using him for termite inspections on houses we're looking to buy but plan on contracting with Absolute once we do buy. He also provides mold and mildew treatment services. When he found the termites in the house in Gretna he came in and told us how he'd just gotten a phone call about how his brother was canoeing and lost his wallet but someone found his wallet with the Absolute card in it and called the office so his brother would be getting his wallet back. We were kind of baffled, but enjoyed the story, and then he said "now that I've told you the good news, are you ready for the bad?" And told us about the live termite infestation. Don't let tangents like that fool you - stay with him. He's the sharp guy that you want keeping your house safe, or telling you if it's so full of bugs it'll have to be burned down. :)

I haven't had any problems with termites since Absolute has cared for my house and outbuilding. They have sprayed for carpenter bees and treated my outbuilding without additional charge, though I built it a few years later. Very good service- I'm sticking with them!

They performed a pre-purchase house inspection for termites. They were on time, did a thorough job, and also educated me about the termites that are in the house. They outlined a comprehensive extermination & treatment plan that I will be using them for when the time comes.

Excellent! Dave dug a trench completely around my house and another one around my work shop he then treated the soil with termidor and he also treated my attic and other areas around the house. He also treated two trees in the yard that were infested literally saving both trees. Highly recommend him good price, great service and very knowledgeable.

Dave Fleming, the owner of the company, is the most knowledgable person I have meet regarding termites. The company did a fine job making a "moat" around my home.

Absolute Termite is very good, I like them very much. I had fallen behind in my payments. I found a colony starting up and I called them. They came out and took care of it and just said to catch up on the maintenance bills. They didn't charge me anything extra. They are very professional, they get 5 stars!

They did a very good job, arrived on time, seemed thorough, a supervisor arrived to check the initial work to ensure it was done accurately. Only thing was that during the subsequent home inspection, we found some additional termite-damaged wood that they didn't locate, but felt confident that there wasn't an issue based on their initial review.
