The job went very well. From the beginning Mr. Stuckey was very accommodating with times and answering my questions. I like that he uses text messaging so that the questions could be answered quickly and concisely. Our first visit was short and to the point. He looked at the job, discussed what I wanted done and how. He then gave me his price. I called him the next day to schedule. He had a couple of snafus before getting to me but was willing to work on the weekend if I was in a hurry. We worked it out so that would not be necessary. I had made some changes after our initial consultation but he took them in stride and did his work with no complaint. His price was very reasonable and he is quite knowledgeable. I'm very proud of my new backsplash! It turned out beautiful! I would recommend him to my friends. Actually, I already have.
Description of Work: This company provided labor to install a tile backsplash for me. He did a great job.

Description of Work: He is very unprofessional. He gave a turn-key quote for everything in the beginning which included everything except for appliances, light fixtures and front door. On the day he asked for the final payment the price was 2500 higher. The electrical and cabinets were never completed. He also has a plumber/painter that works with him named James Finch. He painted my cabinets and they a horrible eyesore. I have had to hire several people to complete their jobs. My husband and I had always been do it yourself people and we decided to splurge and have a turnkey job. It was and continues to be a nightmare.

When they came to my house, they did my house only. It was not like they came for two hours and went somewhere else for the rest of the day. They worked all day until they were through. I was very satisfied with them.
Description of Work: I used Kendalls for having my kitchen remodeled and they laid the tile as well. They took down the wall dividing the dining room and living room. They also put in new cabinets and appliances.

Description of Work: Needed to upgrade a few things in my house, getting it ready to sale. Kendall was right on target with everything on my list. Later, after buying my new home called him for a minor fix and he was there.

I finished both doors my self after I purchased caulking, insulation, lumber, new door jams and sweat.
Description of Work: For months my wife and I ,both Senior Citizens, looked and priced a front door 36" steel with dead bolts and matching keys. Also the same with the carport 32" steel door. We wanted more security and the doors were long overdue (30+ years) and I decided to turn the job over to a professional. While I finally found the two doors and the price we could afford at a local warehouse , I asked the man at the desk if he could recommend someone. It happen that Kendall Stuckey was loading his trailer for a home remodeling contract. His very much professional business card stated "15 Years Experience" and with the warehouse's recommendation,I hired him to install the doors. He came to our house with his,helper-friend-employee-???but well experienced as we were told ,with our doors on his trailer. OK! Please DO NOT MAKE OUR MISTAKE. Here it is, because the doors did not quite fit??His helper use a large cooping saw with a very dull blade to make the opening larger. I asked why??36" is 36" the size of the door? No answer other than he has done this before. The molding was not together at the corners. the top of the door was not level and this was obvious to see. The house is not level! This weekend I started very early in the morning before the HEAT and completely redid the doors. Here is what I found: No insulation at all anywhere to prevent drafts. No shims at all to aline the frames. Door jams were uneven making the doors hard to open and close. The dead bolts were NOT lined up to the jam or frame to work properly. One of the frames, the one sawed on, was so uneven daylight and moonlight can be seen from inside the house. I'm done, All we can do is pray for him and hope he will do better to the next one.

Not a good experience. He states he will not return to our home and complete the work. Wood he took from the house he doesn't have. He states he is busy and we are unreasonable. Never pay someone until 100% of work is done no matter how much they cry they need the money!!!
Description of Work: Put up base molding and crown molding, did not caulk joints. Put in granite counter tops in kitchen, left scrap wood and dust every where. Used our vacum cleaner and clogged it up. Clogged the sink, had to call plumber to fix it. Put up dry wall, outlets don't fit right. Never fixed after more than 6 months. Hung new outside door, have gaps that let in drafts, never fixed after more than 6 months. Has a painter who was his friend paint the kitchen cabinets, he said he would rehang the doors for the painter, cabinet doors are still sitting in out building and not hung since November 2010. Took a piece of cedar board off of the house (entire house is cedar). He said he took it to match the cedar. Never put it back up. When asked about it he said he left it at the lumber yard and no longer had it. Than was back in November 2010. Space is no open to the elements. All of this work now has to be done by someone else. That someone else now has to be paid. Kendall's response is he is not coming back he is busy.
