*The technician (Technician A) told me I could clean the coils myself with a hose but neglected to mention that I should spray the coils with a coil cleaner first. The technician never checked the breaker box and the outside unit to see if there were problems. *I followed the instructions given, and the unit worked for 1 hr. and shut itself off after badly overheating. * I phoned the after hours line, talked to a different technician (Technician B) who told me that I had refused the Technician A's offer for the coil cleaning service. I told the Technician B that I was never offered any such service, and relayed the conversation that took place in my kitchen near verbatim. Technician A apparently lied about offering the service I allegedly refused when reporting back to his office. Technician B said he'd have to get with his boss and I requested that he ask his boss to call me and provided my phone number. *I never heard back from the company that night or the next morning. *The following morning I contacted a different company and had my air conditioning unit properly repaired. *Bottom line was that I paid $94.00 for no service performed. I also found out that the unit was throwing the breaker and had a serious short. I was so upset that I was given extremely poor customer service, no real service, and completely incorrect information that could have resulted in serious problems, that I put a request to stop payment on the check I had written. The truly sad part is that I had been a customer in the past of this company. Not anymore.

We are now looking for another installer(s) to try to get this project going. We are just so disappointed. They look like a reputable company based on the reviews here and on their website. It's very disheartening to see the inequity in the way they treat their customers. We don't understand why they would pull the permits for some customers but not for us. They made it sound like theis was standard practice for them. We've inquired around with neighbors with generators, and none of them had to pull the permit themselves. When we contacted them to tell them we were going to look to work with someone else because of the delay in their responses they assured us that they were working on our job (our requests were from the fire marshall to provide data on the generator that is their product, in order to obtain the permit that they refused to do). So, we waited to give them more time and here we sit in the middle of July with nothing done and and still waiting on information on their product to give to the fire marshall. It's as if they have never done this before! It has been a frustrating experience and a needless delay in a project that is essential for the safety and security of our family. We should have gone with our initial instincts and started looking for another company over a month ago. Our recommendation - if you get the same refusals and hedging to pull permits - MOVE ON. You won't get any where with this company.

Both of their teams were very professional and did a very good job. All up to code with permits and everything. We are happy with their work. I had received three proposals for a standby generator. The third was from Cajun Comfort. We met them at the Home and Garden show here in New Orleans at the Super Dome. Theirs was the most professional proposal and covered all details. Also was the best price and did not over quote the size of the generator just to make more $.

I live not far from the Cajun Comfort shop so it did not surprise me when an electrician was sent to my house almost immediately to scope the job and give me a quote. Since one of my old fixtures had just failed and the kitchen now had limited light, Cajun Comfort scheduled the job as soon as the new light fixtures arrived (approximately 2 days later). The electrician and his assistant arrived promptly at 7:30 am on Monday and installed all three fixtures in only a couple of hours. They worked safely and cleaned they performed the work. Both gentlemen were easy to talk to and had great senses of humor. I will definitely use Cajun Comfort in the future for this type of work.
