Description of Work: Worst customer service ever! I had one item cleaned and asked for a quote on re-wiring a ceiling fixture.

Description of Work: I took a small chest lock (2"x 2"), skeleton key, screws, and an escutcheon to be plated, nothing unusual, just an object of sentimental value. A man came over and looked at it and said, "Is that all there is that shows?! No." I smiled and said "Thank you," and walked out of this shop, never to return! Totally rude behavior from the staff!

Description of Work: My mother and I left a sterling silver spoon with them before Hurricane Katrina that belonged to mother's sterling silver flatware set which she got when she was married back in the mid-1940's during World War II. I accidentally let the spoon get damaged in the garbage disposal so the spoon needed restoring. Mother died during Katrina evacuation. I contacted Zito's about the spoon. NOTE THAT THERE WAS A DISCLARIMER ON THEIR INVOICE THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPERTY LEFT WITH THEM. The store was flooded during Hurricane Katrina. They told me to file on mother's homeowners insurance policy! The pattern had been discontinued and was not replaceable. I was only able to find something similar but definitely not the same pattern but that was the best I could do. I had to sue State Farm as many people did because State Farm was not paying out what they should have after collecting premiums all those years. I could not deduct the loss because I did not have tax-deductible income, or even the exorbitant legal fees. Zitos could have cared less although mother has used them many times over the years for restoration. I REALLY wonder what happened to that rare sterling silver spoon. If you care about what you want repaired or any work done, do NOT use Zitos because you may never see it again. If they were to have a fire, then forget about your property. In my case, there was a flood. What really gets me is how cold-hearted and uncaring they were. Furthermore, I will always wonder what really happened o the spoon I inherited

Description of Work: There is a small company called Zitos Plating & Polishing Inc.The services they provide is obviously re-plating and re-polishing metals. They also do chandelier work for old chandeliers. Within the last two weeks we had an antique lamp rewired by them. We also had a nautical ship's bell and plaque re-polished.
