My front door lock jammed to the point that the first locksmith I called couldn't fix it and recommended Star Lock & Key because they've been in business for so long and might have the expertise/equipment to work in this antique lock. The lock is original equipment from 1929. I called Star about 10:45 a.m. and the job was completed by 3 p.m. The locksmith who came out unjammed the lock had been on another call before coming here. The lock is not fixed--it has been disabled because it is broken, but we can use the deadbolt until I can find a replacement. Throughout, I was impressed by both the person who answered my phone call and the man who came out. I'm sorry that the lock can't be fixed, but at least we can lock the door. I'd recommend Star Lock & Key for anyone who needs a locksmith.

Called on a Thursday morning hoping for work to be done before the weekend. Star Lock scheduled my appt. for 8:30 a.m. the following morning. Serviceman (Larry) called prior to 8:30 to confirm the appt. and arrived promptly to do the work. He quickly got me access to the locked structure. He proceeded to remove all 3 locks to the house access doors, went to his work truck and reset the locks within 15-20 min. Very professional. Larry explained what he was doing throughout, was very polite, professional and efficient. He offered to make as many new keys as I needed, I decided on 4. Total invoice was about $185.00, a price I thought very reasonable for the time and work involved. I would use Star again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality locksmith.

He actually showed up early, which was great because it meant I wasn't late for work! He did a great job and fixed all of the problem locks, many of which were sticking or used different keys. He did a great job and was very affordable given the amount of time involved.

I called to have doors re-keyed to my new house. Original appointment was for day after closing, but when our closing was finished by 1pm, I called to see if they could come the same day. Gentleman in the office was great, and very helpful and sent someone over that same day. Technician that arrived, was very agitated and not very willing to do what we asked. He seemed exhausted and very hot. We actually had 4 other interior doors we wanted re-keyed but he refused to do it, saying there was no need. He only gave us 2 keys for each door and when we asked for additional keys because we need them for all our family members he said he didn't have enough supplies to make them and we should just go to the store to get them cut. So now I have to get another locksmith out to re-key all the doors that we wanted done and I had to go and get more keys made for my children at the store.

I spent around $100. They came to fix a broken locks and match some locks and keys. It took about 20 to 30 minutes and just one worker came out. They didn't leave a mess. My interaction was very good, he was very pleasant.

I called the shop in the morning and was told they could be out to the property about mid-day and that I would get a call twenty minutes before arrival. I received a call around 11:30 a.m. and the van arrived around 11:45. Work completed by friendly installer and I paid by credit card.

We have used them several times, they are good. The owner always answers the phone, he is really helpful and gets someone that same day. It was a positive experience. Price was fair.

Carl is the best. He's prompt and responsive. He sent out Bert who rekeyed over 40 doors in a large office space. The work took about 3 days.

Great experience. He was done in 15 minutes. Haven't had problems since then.

They changed the locks on the front door and back door.

Somehow I managed to lose one set of keys for my Ford Ranger pickup (ignition, bed cover lock, tailgate lock.) I called Star Lock and the phone was immediately answered. They answered all questions, supplied pricing and thanked me for calling. We went to the store over our lunch hour. They quickly identified what I needed and cut the keys. They had me verify that all keys worked before I paid. I highly recommend this locksmith. The prices were reasonable and the service was professional and friendly.
