 + -1 moreSherry is fabulously talented, and willing to work with you to make sure the project fits in with your house and decor. She made designed the two tables on her own, with very little input from me, because I trust her instincts. With the screen she is currently working on, she has involved me in several design choices, including the fabric for the back side of the screen (teal velvet) and the color of the dye for the leather. She talked with me about what I was looking for, came back with a proposal, sometimes including samples, and then allowed me to check on the progress when I wanted to. I totally trust Sherry's taste and talent. She is brilliant!
Description of Work: Sherry has done a number of things for me, but I especially love the decorative painting that she has done on several pieces of furniture. I have a small table that is an original creation, gilded with a stenciled velvet top and beading on the sides. Also, she took a cheap coffee table that I bought at a furniture store (I loved the size and height but the finish was really cheap looking) and added "crackle," gilded designs and aged finish to make it look old. This piece is so spectacular that when my house was used as a movie set, the Set Designer for the movie commented on the very high quality of Sherry's work. She is currently working on a large leather screen with gold stenciling, to be used as a room partition. I love everything she does!
