The work done was good. The only things that could have gone better are punctuality/professionalism/communication: -We had to reschedule work at one point because their shipment of insulation hadn't arrived, which wasn't that big of a deal -I was under the impression that all the work would be done in one day, but it actually took two days -On day 1, I was told they would arrive around 8 am, but they didn't show up until 11 am; I had to call the "middle man" at No Limits Energy Solutions to find out what was going on (for they didn't contact me to tell me that they would be late) -They didn't install the smoke alarm, but showed up randomly days later without communication to try to install it But I would like to reiterate that the work done was good, just that there needs to be better communication.
Description of Work: Sprayed foam insulation underneath the house and in the attic; also did some air sealing/weather proofing.

Their guys ran their truck into the side of our house. The never came out and fixed it. After a month, they did not charge us the rest of the payment. I am very unhappy with them. They were competitive with everybody else on pricing. I would absolutely not use them again.
Description of Work: Retrofitz blew insulation in to our walls.

Nothing was done the way that Ryan Fitzmorris had initially explained to me. His equipment was second rate and he charged me $500 to clean up the mess. I had to pay an additional $100 to have the mess cleaned up by a cleaning service and my spare bedroom is still full of the contents from my attic. Now I have the job of sorting and returning the essentials to the attic. Other items will be sold or given to a charity. Then the cleaning service will have to come and do another deep clean to remove the dust from the objects that had been stored in the attic. They were supposed to have been moved to the center of the attic, and covered for protection. What a mess! This all ensued because we purchased a dehumidifier from the heating and AC company that we have been doing business with for years, and it was explained that the insulation process was necessary prior to the installation of the new equipment.
Description of Work: We hired this company to insulate our attic because General Heating and AC works with them on a contractual basis. After we first met, it took weeks to get an accurate estimate before I agreed to have the job done. I received an estimate and then received the revised correction. Initially, I was told by Ryan Fitzmorris that they would come to my house on Thursday and Friday. I was told that on Thursday they would prep the attic by moving all of its contents to the center and covering it for protection, then they would return on Friday to insulate the attic with open cell foam insulation. Schedules were rearranged for someone to be home on Thursday. When they arrived, they proceeded to the attic, reviewed the job and left the premises within minutes without making the preperations for the next day. They arrived on Friday morning, emptied all contents of the attic into a spare bedroom and wanted to proceed with the work. Only at my insistance did the workmen protect my hardwood floors. It had not been explained to me that my front door would be left wide open all day, exposing my home to the outdoor dust and dirt. No attempt was made to protect my home from outdoor debris and they did not cover the attic floor boards. Foam remnants were stuck to the attic floors, and were tracked throughout my home. They made an absolute mess. Towards the end of the workday on Friday, I was told that they would have to do a touch up job at another residence nearby. I was also told that they would have to return over the weekend to pick up the numerous bags of the old insulation that had been removed from the attic. To ensure they would return the same day to retreive all of the bags left behind, I held their check until they returned to pick up the trash. My house still has little pieces of foam appearing here and there after we vacuumed twice and mopped twice. They did not have the proper clean up equipment and had no intention of putting things back in the attic in spite of our initial agreement. In all fairness to the workmen, they were pulled from my job before they could assist in anyway to return any objects to the attic. His associate supervised the job because Ryan was out of town on the day the job was completed. However, his associate as well as the AC company were immediately made aware of my discontent. The technician who installed the dehumidifier was also made aware of the situation with RetroFitz because he could see the specs of foam on the attic floor and the contents of the attic in the spare bedroom.

Ryan Fitzmorris is the guy’s name who is at RetroFITZ. They are a referral from a friend who said they were very good. They did the work for the price that they said they would. They were here when they said they would, and they got it done even though it was a little bit more than they anticipated and they got it done the same day. They were fabulous.
Description of Work: I used the services of RetroFITZ for insulating our house, underneath the floor, in December 2011.
