From the start working with Katie was an enjoyable learning experience. She carefully educated us about each step - including the many pitfalls of buying an old home in New Orleans, and finding a lender and insurance agent. If there was ever a moment when we thought we were missing a piece of information, she was quick to supply and explain it. Katie took time to understand what we wanted in a house, and showed us only homes we might be interested in. This included counseling us not to see a home if she thought it was in poor shape. She valued our time and made sure we had real choices. We found our dream house during our second outing. It was the fifth house we looked at. Katie has been even more helpful since then. We ended up purchasing a home owned by a relocation company, which means more red tape and waiting than is usual. Since we're buying a 100 year old home, the inspection process was also lengthy and included a lot of back and forth with the seller. She has been with us every step of the way, making sure we did everything right and got a fair deal. I would recommend her to anyone. In fact, I've already recommended her to two of my friends!
