PosiGen Solar Solutions

I've been with Posigen for about 7 years now and have always paid my bills on time!!!! As of Feb. 2022, I haven't been able to monitor my Solar Production because Posigen haven't updated their system to 5g Capability!!! I told them my payments are to be deferred until they update the system on their end!!! I spoke with a couple Reps that said your panels are producing what they should based on your production on your Electric Bill!!! I asked how can I know if I cant see the daily production to ensure the panels are producing what they should!!! They said take my word for it!!! I'm like that's very bogus to tell a faithful customer to take your word!!! Especially when the issue is not on their end!!! Now because of Non-Payments for 2 months of me not knowing what I'm producing since Feb, they're now threatening to shut my system off!!! Who treats a customer like this when the issue is on their end!!! Especially when that customer has been making faithful payments up into them not upgrading the system on their end!!! Can someone please recommend A good lawyer to stop them from interfering with system!!! Again, the issue is not on my end!!! I need help!!!!

They were very polite, efficient, they work entire time. The only problem was the cover over the attic fan fell off after they left.

They did what they promised. They 're gonna save me in my energy bill moving forward. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The panels were installed on 08/23/2021. I received an email that the city needs to come and complete their inspection. Hurricane Ida blew off 2 of the panels. I'm having difficulty getting anyone on the phone to report it. Please call at (504) 914-7997 2 Marywood Court New Orleans, LA 70128

Went ok wish I could have had it turned on sooner but it's finally on so I can hopefully start saving money because I know someone who has the panels but is not saving any money

PosiGen New Orleans has broken our contractual lease agreement, but claims I broke the lease. After more than seven years, the panels have not lived up to the hype touted by PosiGen’s sales force. In an email dated 5/18/2021; a representative acknowledged, via their online monitoring portal, that my average monthly savings was less than $23.00. “We are truly sorry if your Solar sales agent misquoted your savings potential. Your average savings has been $72.72- $50 = ($264 yearly savings). We understand your disappointment and apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused you.” I was initially drawn to solar energy by PosiGen’s ads of monthly savings in excess of $100.00 and energy bills of $20.00. During those seven years, PosiGen has only reached out to us twice. The first was an attempt to garner leads (additional sales). The second was after I stopped automatic payments when PosiGen refused to perform a required maintenance procedure. That maintenance procedure was simply a request to clean the panels. New Orleans has a very humid climate. After seven years, the panels are not producing the amount of energy required to substantiate a marginal energy savings. The accumulation of mildew, bird droppings, and pollution from the Chalmette Refinery has contributed to an estimated 70% reduction in solar output. The last straw was being told by a customer service rep that PosiGen would not clean the panels; and that I could climb a ladder to clean them myself. This reply was the catalyst for my request to remove the panels and terminate the lease. Shortly after, I was contacted by a personable individual at my home. He proposed a solution that would bring my account into good standing and have the panels cleaned. I agreed to his proposal, however, when the scheduled cleaning did not transpire, once again, I stopped automatic payments. PosiGen’s response was to send out, unannounced, an individual who claimed he had come to clean the panels (clearly, an attempt at a CYA effort to document the service was offered). During the interim, the panels had been turned off, and were no longer actively producing energy. Despite PosiGen’s active monitoring, that didn’t stop billing with overdue charges (late fees). Since my initial request, in July of 2020, four additional requests have been made to various PosiGen representatives to have the solar panels removed from my home. PosiGen’s response is to have their in-house lawyer intimidate me with legal actions. They insist I foot the bill for the solar array removal ($1,800.00), and an unearned past due balance. A little research (web-browsing) indicates that I am not the first, and probably won’t be the last, to be defrauded by PosiGen. Bottom line . . . PosiGen may be a solution for some, but not for this guy! PosiGen Account Contract Number: 223072

that part went fine. but the salesmen lied and told me i would be saving alot more then i am,IT IS NOT WORTH IT

It was a shady experience. The salesman did not get back to us when he said he would. I was getting him to come out here for the final paper work. They put the solar panel in a different spot. I chose them because they were available at that time.

I am TOTALLY DISGUSTED with the total lack of professionalism on the part of PosiGen for sending people out to do such horrible work on my home. Ronjae Taylor was the installer / Quality Control Supervisor that did the work today. It started of badly when he was 5 hours late. He did nothing but complain about what he was doing for us. He keep telling me that what was being done would not help reduce our light bill. When I asked him to tell me what should be done he said it's not in PosiGen's budget to do everything needed or promised. The work that was done today was beyond sub par. When I signed the contract with PosiGen I was told it would be about 4 months from start to finish with all the work complete. Today made 9 months & we are still not finished. I have put calls daily to PosiGen's main office & their Corporate offices & the sub contractors only to not have but one or two call backs. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PosiGen to anyone !!!
