Good very clean man and knowledgeable Showed up before I did at my rental house

That guy did come out he told me that something was wrong and I had somebody to come out and they didn't see what he saw.

The provider gave me a price to put in a hot water heater for $475.00 for the install, labor only. I talked to Annabell and she knew exactly where the hot water heater was, in the attic as we discussed the particulars of the install. I asked if $475.00 is the final labor price, including the filing charge, and AnnaBelle informed me that the price includes everything except maybe a little extra if they have to change a fitting, or something to bring it up to code, which I understood. When the plumber came out, the price changed from $475.00 to $950.00 (again, this is labor only). When I protested how did it jump up an additional $475.00, he explained he had to add on a $200.00 filing charge, and extra hard install fee being in the attic. I was very upset, how is it an extra hard install fee?? You knew that coming into this and that was included in the price. The water heater is right at the top of the attic stairs so this doesn't make sense... When I called Annabelle back she agreed that the price should include the filing fee, and doesn't know how it has an extra hard charge but there is nothing she can do about it. I believe that I was initially told the correct information, but when they arrived, they decided to increase the price on me. Most people at that point would be desperate and probably would pay the higher price. I would not recommend this company as from this situation, I believe you will constantly be looking over your shoulder as to extra charges, fees, and customer service would not be responsive to help...

They were a little pricey, but we had a job that needed to be done.

That turned out fine. I didn't pay more than the $44. They came a month later to do the work but it wasn't their doing, it was our fault because we kept delaying it. They were pretty accurate about pinpointing issues in the plumbing.

When the provider came out he did not take any time to evaluate anything. He did not check any of my plumbing. When showing the toilet that I had problems with, he did not even try to resolve it. He immediately said it needed to be removed, did not even try to plunge it or snake it. After he left, he sent two men out to remove the toilet. There are still problems. If he would have tried to snake it this problem would have been resolved. I feel that he took full advantage of me.

The team was very polite and respectful but to me the craftsmanship just wasn't there had call back a couple times thay took apart my main sink put it back together and the next morning my floor was full of water and under my counter had water all over,was old it was a old faucet but I had just replaced it a year or two ago and never leaked before so I had to buy a new faucet don't know why but I did ,I thought it was over and front main cut off thay replaced also had a leak but was repaired in a timely manner and my old hot water lines still has pressure on it,that I don't understand!

That plumber service turned out fine. They did a great job with some general maintenance. They were very nice, on time and professional.

My experience was good. They set up the appointment quickly.

I purchased the $44.00 whole house inspection in which the plumber only checked out the problem areas in the house and told me that the dye check was not worth doing as he can see which problems were visible. The inspection was not done correctly and then the plumber tried to help out by offering to fix the loose plumbing below the sink for free as all he had to do was tighten it. Unfortunately, the next day the whole cabinet under the kitchen sink was drenched. During the inspection, the plumber wrote down which areas needed to be fixed and gave me the quote to fix all problems the same day. He called his employer and received the costs for all services and let me know that I can call his office to schedule a day to start the project. Upon calling the office, the receptionist was friendly and took down which services I wanted done and I confirmed that the prices were as given to me by the plumber. The plumber came to fix the areas agreed by myself to fix but then ended up fixing 2 toilets instead of 1 and then told me that replacing the cartridge for the shower faucet was going to be over $800.00 because he needed to go through the next door neighbor's wall to fix. Being a resident manager, I knew this was not correct so I decided not to use this company to replace the shower faucet cartridge. Needless to say, I was upset that the plumber fixed more than agreed upon and that I was billed for both toilets. Upon talking to Ray, he said he will only charge me for 1 toilet rebuild since that was what I made the appointment for. After I spoke to the receptionist, she rudely told me that the plumber gave me the wrong price, originally quoted at $145.00 for a whole toilet rebuild and that I have to pay $175.00. She refused to honor the written quote that the plumber had given me. Having worked with many contractors, Pete's Plumbing was very disappointing and unprofessional. I will not use them again for any future services for fear of non-commitment and extreme over-charging.

The person who came was very nice. They were very good. When a leak from a faucet hat wasn't totally tightened occurred they came back and fixed it at no charge. I would tell others that the work was professional, the price was agreed upon in advanced, I was happy with the work and I would use them again. I spent about $125.

purchased the big deal which is really more like a service call fee. i had Corey clear the the 2 drains. He was not equipped to clear my dryer vent which is another service i would have paid for.

The inspection was through. The company name, Pete's Plumbing is different than that used on the Big Deal and that was confusing at first. Cory, the plumber who came out for the inspection got me the price quotes for specific repairs; I used him for repairing a broken shut off valve for the tenant's water system. When the weather became really cold, I felt much more comfortable knowing that if my tenant had a frozen pipe, we could turn off the water. Cory also replaced my washing machine valves and hoses and repaired and reseated a 30-year old toilet. I would be pleased to have Cory make the additional repairs (mostly frozen hot and cold shut off valves) when I get around to them.

It was fine. The scheduling was painless. They got the job done in about an hour. The cleanup was fine.

It was great. They just did a basic service but they were prompt, on time and friendly. They did the service probably about a week after I purchased the big deal but I think that I paid them an extra $40 or $50.

I felt like they gave me the run around. I thought that the deal would include a service call, I feel like the big deal should have included the value of the service.

No work was done. I will be seeking a refund.

We decided on a plan of action. He returned to do the work the next week; on time, very professional, did the work without bothering me (I've had other service providers in the house that were WAY too chatty). His helper was efficient and porfessional, as well. He left the area that he worked in clean. I did not feel that I was being gouged on the price, and their work resolved 90% of the issues that I was having. (the other 10% will require a new water line). I am a very satisfied customer.

Very Clean Workers and they kept the bathrooms picked up and clean each day as the work proceeded. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Home efforts to no avail. Provider came immediately, fixed problem quickly.

After the inspection they changed the pipes coming from my kitchen sink. They had to replace several joints because of rust on them. They hooked the water back up to the sink and tested it before leaving. Everything went well.

The problem was diagnosed and repaired in a short amount of time. We were very pleased with the result.

Pete's Plumbing had previously installed our tankless waterheater, so we knew he did excellent work. We had him come out in September to give us an estimate for our new kitchen, We were swapping the kitchen and dining room locations, so we needed new plumbing for water, gas, and venting in the new kitchen area; and we needed the plumbing in the old kitchen area disconnected. He provided and estimate of just under $3000 for the work and we told him we would like to have it done in November. As the time approached, we called to schedule the work. He came out to reconfirm and we gave him a $500 deposit. They arrived promptly on the day the work was scheduled to begin. We were taking out cabinets and moving them from one room to the other, they were willing to work around us. They roughed in the plumbing for the sink, then over the weekend we removed the sink and base cabinet, moved them to the new location, and on Monday they came back and connected the sink and faucet. Not every contractor is willing to work with homeowners the way they were. We will call Pete again, when we do the master bathroom.

Might have gotten cheaper deal shopping around, but these folks were so good and so nice, and we were fed up with the problem.

The repairman (Cory) who did the inspection was very thorough and friendly. He found many repairs that needed attention. I live in a historic old house and following the inspection and there was curiously a lack of water in the kitchen sink that had to be remedied immediately. The Manager Ray came immediately when notified of my crisis. There was no written report of the findings of the inspection. |I hired the company to change leaky valves and a humming faucet in my kitchen and replace a leaky drain trap also in the kitchen. The work was done the following day. The faucet that Pete's provided and installed was a much lower quality (plastic handles) than the one I had before but the humming problem was fixed. The new valves are tidy and leak free and the drain trap is also leak free. | |
