MR MOVE

I had a horrible experience with Mr. Move and will not use them again.  They arrived at 8:15 am for a 9am appointment. My husband was working on taking some furniture apart, so we were not ready for them to get there before the agreed upon time. The 2 movers were horrible.  One was 65 plus years and the other was younger, but both terribly slow.  They walked around my tiny house for 40 minutes before loading the first piece of furniture into the truck. They were slo slow my husband, brother in law, and friend had to do most of the loading. We were paying by these people take too long to move.  The old guy disappeared for 30 minutes -- he was "using the bathroom" and then took several smoke breaks on top of that. 
They damaged several piecs of furniture.  The old guy made a joke early on that if anything was damaged we could pay him to fix it.  Damaged several pieces of furniture and took a very long time to load and unload.  My house was only 1100 sq ft moving to a bigger house. 
I will not use this company again. Horrible!

I talked to them about 2 weeks prior with secretary,  She said when they came I could pay them by check.

When they came and got to my new address.  The owner had given them instructions to call him, and he then told them they can only accept cash.  I did not have $750 with me and was new to the area, so I did not have that much cash with me.

I got on the phone with the boss and he became insulting, saying that I must not have good credit if I did not have a bank in the area.

 They refused to give me things, so I had to drive to a bank and withdraw $750 in cash.

The men were great and apologetic, but the owner was a problem.
