Mr. Lambert came out right away when we called him and spent about 20 minutes looking over the job, about half of that time he was using the bathroom. No special diagnostic equipment was used and what he did was more of a walk through, visual inspection. We were given a proposal for over $5000 to make repairs. There was no guarantee when they would start or how long the job would take and Mr. Lambert wanted 1/3 of the total ($1,650) as a down payment. The company had no physical address so I was very skeptical. When the K&D experience was compared to other electrical contractors performance who gave us estimates, at NO charge, I was angry. Especially upsetting was the fact that K&D was asking about five times as much money to do a job that eventually cost us about $1200.00. Total! I think this company was up to "no good" and I don't believe they're in New Orleans any longer but may still be operating in the region.
