We started looking for a new home on the Northshore without being represented by an agent. We scheduled a few viewings on our own and met Sidney at a home at which he was the listing agent. We did not find our dream home that day, but we did find an amazing realtor. Starting from the very first contact, he was extemely nice and easy to talk to. Being as thorough and responsive as he is, we got a follow-up email from him the next day with a ton of additional picrures of the house. We had to tell him that the house wasn't for us, but that we would love for him to act as our agent. He happily agreed, but was admittedly a little surprised. When we told him of our poor experiences with other agents and how immediately impressed we were with him, he was slightly taken aback. It would never have occured to him to be any less kind or genuine, its just in his nature. Unfortunately, those qualities are not as common as they should be. After viewing around 30 homes and putting in offers on 4, we found the right home at the right price. If you are looking for a realtor anywhere in the New Orleans area, we highly recommend Sidney (and our endorsements do not come easy). He is a great agent and an even better person.
