Description of Work: JLJ was supposed to be the general contractor on a renovation project that I was doing. It was my first renovation and the owner took me to the cleaners. His men would seldom show up, though he agreed to a particular time frame in the contract, he did not file half of the permits (which I am still dealing with), and he charged me HUNDREDS for inspections which the city does for free! He eventually walked off the job when I put pressure for him to actually show up and keep his word! He did not pay some of the sub-contractors he hired and I had paid him for and told them I would pay them the rest! This guy has no integrity! RUN FROM HIS BUSINESS!!
