Description of Work: I initially contacted Mr. Porre' on Tuesday July 29, 2014 to get a quote to repair some plaster and re-install a medallion in my living room. He told me he would contact me the next day to set up a time to come see it. I never heard from him, so I called again on Thursday, and he apologized and set up a time to come by. He visited the house and gave me a verbal quote. I gave him my business card and asked him to email me a written quote; I never received it. After waiting a few days, I called Mr. Poree' again to ask him about the quote. He apologized and said he was working on it; it never was received. Flash forward to the 13th of August, when I called Mr. Poree' one more time to try to get the work completed. I explained that I was going out of town, and could he pick up the medallion to complete the off-site work he seemed to think was necessary. He said that would be great and he would pass on my information to his supervisor Chris. Shockingly, I never heard back from Mr. Poree' or the mysterious Chris. After that, I just gave up. | |I joined Angie's List so it would weed out this kind of crap. I thought the whole point of the exercise was to save me time and money. Not so much in this case.

Description of Work: He removed a wall, shored up the ceiling, took into account wiring and utilization of the rooms with focus on details. He was pleasant to deal with even when there was a small problem ( he can out on a Sunday to see how it could be resolved). His workers were wonderful, and cleaned up after themselves as if they were never even there. The only negative was that he was too expensive but I was truly was happy with the results and the craftmanship . It was worth the expense. No one can ever tell my walls were ever fixed ... they look like they were original to match the 1943 style. Happy in Gentilly
