It was great. Jeff only charges for labor. He took me to Lowes and helped me pick out what I needed. I payed for it and then he did the labor. He was very helpfull. I am going to hire him for additional remodeling work. Using Jeff saved me a lot of money.

He took his time, was polite and good sense of humor on the phone. In my over 50 years of home-making, I have had only ONE other service-person (an appliance business owner who had sold me all of my new home appliances) offer this service. Jeff has my thanks and an "A"

Jeff fixed the problem exactly as he said he would, with no extra BS or extra work or parts. Quick and simple, and he showed up exactly when he said he would.

Jeff came in and used equipment to check all of the lines going to my outside unit, and actually went into th unit itself and reset it. He performed a number of tests to eliminate different possibilities. He eliminated all aspects on the electrical side and narrowed it down to the unit itself. I cannot say enough about his follow through and forthrightness. He is something that we are in dire need of around here: an honest contractor.

Jeff was experienced. He knew what he was talking about and was careful to show me exactly what my problems were and what needed to be done to fix them. Jeff was friendly, personable, and even played with my dog for a few minutes before he left. She likes him a lot! He is also going to do some work on another toilet as well when he rteturns. I will not only call Jeff for plumbing, but for any other type of work that I need done and that he is willing to do. A very positive experience. This means a lot when you live alone and know absolutely ZERO about anything having to do with repairs on a home.

I chose Jeff among those highly rated by Angie's list because he was a qualified "jack of all trades"--in my case I needed to repair leaking pipes and valves in my laundry room and have my water damaged floor replaced, as well as new dry wall installed where pipes were replaced. Jeff completed the work in a timely manner (on a Saturday and Sunday morning) and proficiently. The cost matched the very reasonable estimate. Jeff has no problem with you (in fact encourages!) buying your own materials--so there is no mark-up.

Jeff was very accommodating. For the estimate, he showed up very quickly after my initial call. In fact, he showed up "after hours," in the late evening, on his way home from another job. He is a very pleasant and affable gentleman, who appears to be quite sincere, and genuinely interested in the people for whom (with whom?) he works. The job itself went quite well. I admit that I changed a few things midway during the job. Specifically, there was a need to refine how the backsplash tiles would be terminated at one end. There was no natural ending such as a wall. So, I went to Home Depot and purchased additional tile components (in the middle of the job), giving these to Jeff to finish the job. So, I admit, I did change the job, somewhat, midway. Jeff had no problem with this, and worked steadily and rigorously all day long. He took time to entertain my 9mo old son, and was overall very personable, pleasant, and easy to trust in your home. The quality of Jeff's work was excellent. His assistant was a bit, well, less thorough. However, Jeff was quite aware of this, and kept an eye out. Jeff took care to cover all entryways and halls with plastic and, indeed, wound up working in his socks so as not to soil my floors. This was appreciated. I am very "nit-picky," and tend to pay attention to details that others would consider minute and unimportant. An example of this would be that I would expect all grout in a job to be perfectly smooth and even. I did point out a few grout flaws to Jeff...and he cheerfully corrected everything...even though at this point it was past 6pm, and he had been there since ~8am. I did feel that prior planning would have prevented waste of materials. However, this is not a fault of Jeff, but of myself. As I mentioned above, I did make some changes to the scope of the project in media res. Consequently, as a matter of advice, I would recommend having the project extremely clearly defined prior to hiring this (or any other) contractor. Jeff did exactly what I asked, inclusive of the changes. Material was wasted, but this was my fault for poorly communicating my goals and objectives. Still, I would recommend keeping an eye on material usage, and planning ahead. Overall, Jeff is really great. He's tremendously affable, punctual, hard-working, and appears to posses skills needed for many home improvement projects. He's exactly the sort of fellow you would want working on your house whilst you are away at work. He would ensure that the work is well done...and would simultaneously ensure that your house is safe. My experience is with a kitchen backsplash. So, for such a project, I would recommend Jeff with no reservations or hesitation. I cannot speak for his other skills. However, I will vouch for his integrity and commitment to fine work, and ongoing relationships with customers, as well as building a solid reputation in this community. He is an excellent choice for your next project. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience. I'd been trying for weeks to get someone for the job; companies either didn't return my call or never showed up after explanation was given as to nature of the work - I guess some people don't want to be bothered with "small" jobs. Initial contact call was made in the early afternoon on Thursday, 4/22; return call later that afternoon, Jeff came out Friday evening 4/23 (after I was off work!) and made the necessary repairs. He was great, and so was his helper, Sam. Price was exactly what was quoted, even though there was a little extra he had to do on one of the windows. I will definitely use him again.

Very nice man. Very responsive. Came within 2 hours and fixed lights and plumbing. Reasonably priced. He is coming back on Sunday to do some more work. Great experience!

The cost included the materials. He was excellent and everything he did was excellent.

I would not recommend him to a dog. He came recommended to me by another company that used him as their installer. He put a rush on me when I called him to do the work. He did a horrible job with all of the work that I hired him for. He never finished the work and I ended up firing him from the project. While he was out to my home he talked about always doing favors for people. I made the mistake of mentioning that I was thinking about having a rental property of mine power washed, because of some mold. He went over to the property, power washed the entire home and sent me a bill for eight hundred and some odd dollars. I had not intended to have the work done at the time, much less by him. He also cut the grass that had just been mowed and removed all of the mulch and bulbs from my flower beds without my asking. He is not professional to work with at all. He made excuses for why he was not out on time. When he first came out he was bragging about having good reports on Angie's List. He showed by a bunch of good reports, and when I went on I found some negative reports. When I confronted him about it he said that it was a problem and it had been corrected. He never did install the skylights so I had to hire someone else to come out and install them.

He was prompt, efficient, and helpful. He had good suggestions and was willing to do whatever it took to solve the problem. Also, the price was excellent.

I found Jeff on Angie's List and definitely recommend his work. He was prompt, called when he got delayed and came when he said he would. His work was efficient, and he's very neat, cleaning his work areas as he went along. He even made friends with my dog. I will certainly call him again!

I have used Jeff on 2 separate occasions and both to my complete satisfaction. While traveling, a neighbor phoned me that my water service was broken and spewing water. From Angie's List I got Jeff's number. He responded on a Sunday afternoon and fixed it immediately. The second time I called him he responded that day and finished the job working under lights that cold night. Quick response, fair prices, cleans up - talks a lot.

Jeff is very honest and friendly - almost to a fault (be prepared to spend some time chatting) but when it comes down to it, the service and price are definitely worth a few extra minutes of chit chat. If he comes by in the morning, he likes his coffee black. Jeff comes highly recommended by us.

Overall I was more than pleased with the project completed by Jeff. He was on time everyday and was knowledgeable to complete the work on time. He re-wired the entire house and installed a new meter and breaker panel. He removed all of the old plumbing and installed new water lines and drains. The best part of all was that Jeff allowed me to buy the supplies so that I could save even more money. All other contractors that provided a quote would allow me to do this. I'm so glad to be able to have power and water in a home that many had quoted $40,000 to $50,000 to complete the work. Thanks Jeff. You really made my year.
