Jeff of all Trades

Description of Work: Jeff removed and replaced/installed flooring in three rooms, painted almost the entire interior, remodeled a bathroom, installed some lights and outlets, fixed some damage to the ceiling, and a few other minor repairs. I couldn't believe how fast the job got done! And the work was top-notch. I'd use Jeff again without hesitation on any future maintenance, repair, or renovation work.

Description of Work: He fixed the hinges on a gate door.

Description of Work: Left area undone that was to be put back in original state after finishing work.

Description of Work: Various odd jobs that added up to approximately $400 which he deemed was worth his time. We would not like him in our home again because of his fixation with guns and tHe idea of shooting someone with them. He did not threaten us in anyway. We just have no use for people who are that deeper into guns.

Description of Work: Replaced hot water pipe to the kitchen sink, repaired drywall ceiling and wall and repaired shower door better than what it was. Advised to get a new one. He fixes the problem without just replacing with everything new. I plan on using him again.

Description of Work: We had some termite and some rotten wood on the bandboard of our garage. Jeff removed the old band, and replaced with a new one. He also repaired some rotted sections of the garage door frame. | |Very knowledgable, focused on quality work (primed the back of the bandboard, vs just the front). | |Nice guy, good trouble-shooter, did what he said he was going to do, reliable. Would be happy to use him again.

Description of Work: Jeff showed up on time for estimates only. His estimates for time and prices are well within our expectations. We have scheduled some of the work.

Description of Work: I made an appointment to meet Jeff at another property I own. He did not show. When called he did not answer. When called the next day he claimed to have no recollection of making an appointment. I had to drive 120 miles round trip and wait for an hour and a half for nothing. If he can't keep better track of his appointments. I don't want him.

Description of Work: I had used Jeff in the past but had not spoken to him in recent months. I called Jeff on a Sunday mid-morning with my several smoke detectors beeping sporadically. Jeff tried through several phone conversations to talk me thru changing batteries or unplugging with no success. Later in the early evening Jeff came by and unplugged all the detectors which stopped the beeping. Peace at last! I have scheduled Jeff to change locks and secure windows. Because he is a State of Louisiana Contractor, I feel more confident using Jeff of All Trades. I appreciate that he came on a Sunday, since he was out on errands anyway, he did not even charge me!

Description of Work: rebuild rear wall of shed

Description of Work: I asked Jeff to make several small repairs on a shotgun house I had purchased three months earlier. The panes of glass I asked him to replace fell out within 2 weeks. The gas leak in laundry room that I asked him to locate wasn't (later visit from the gas company found that the connection to the water heater was loose) - he told me that while he could smell gas, he could find no place where there was a leak. The leak in the bathtub faucet came back within a month. There was more and a couple of things were done correctly. When I called him to come back to re-repair or finish things, he wouldn't return my calls.

Description of Work: he showed up and worked for 2 hours on one window. then just disappeared. no word. no return calls. just vanished. he wouldnt return calls. i didnt pay him. but at least he could have just said he didnt want to do the job. just vanished
