Description of Work: His company provided the spray insulation under my house during construction in 2007. I am still trying to get it done correctly. My house has so many drafts I later hired an energy efficiency advisor to see what could be done. He informed me that Greenbean had used the incorrect type of form for outside. I called the owner of the company to have him come to see the problem but after many many attempts I finally spoke to him. He was going to call me back to let me know when he could meet with me. I have not heard from him in over a month. When I call him he does not return my calls. I need this problem rectified and may need to take legal action. I go not have the money to hire another company to fix his mess.

Salesperson came to house to inspect the entire attic area. I showed him an access area that I needed assurance that they could fit into, to spray the roof of the addition to my master suite (an area 16 x 20). He said they could do it. I signed on. Workers arrived 1/2 day late to start. They forgot equipment and supplies on first day and got off to a late start. At the end of the first day, I asked if they got the addition sprayed. The lead worker says that he didn't think he could fit in there. I talked to the salesman, who basically didn't want to honor the agreement we made and would deduct $125 for my trouble (for a 16 x 20 area). This did not sit well and I voiced displeasure with the owner (who did not EVER personally visit the site). He agreed to pay to have someone else complete the job. He was shocked to hear the bids were so high to complete the addition area, as his worker told him it was only a very small pocket area (the owner believes the lies of his workers over the customer). I told the owner I would open up the access area as much as I could (my expense) if they would complete the job. The work was completed at my extra expense and not one apology or regret expressed by the owner of Greenbean. Instead, once he was paid, I was verbally insulted by the owner. They are unprofessional in human relations. The customer is ALWAYS wrong at Greenbean. Avoid this company!!!

Things went really well. They were upfront about their insulation and whether it would be appropriate for me. So they were appropriately fair as a return for our investment. We didn't go with it because of it.

The installer's had a combined 27 years of experience working with spray foam. Unlike many other forms of insulation, foam is a complicated and technically challenging product to work with. Both their team, and the company owner were polite, professional, and communicative. While their prices are not likely to be the lowest you get, spray foam insulation is not a product where you want to risk a substandard installation. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
Description of Work: Kurt's team at Green Bean Insulation sprayed closed cell form underneath the floor, and in a small amount of wall space, while also installing blown in insulation in the attic.

They did a good job for me. The work turned out well. The workers didn't say much. They came here did the work and left. They completed the job quickly. They finished in about 2 and a half hours. If I need another insulation job I would call them. The price was an average price. I got what I paid for. They returned my call pretty quick. They showed up exactly on time. They seemed that they new what they were doing. Also they brought enough material.

They were on time and finished in 2 days.
Description of Work: They did a great job and the insulation saved me $50 a month in summer, which paid this off in 3yrs time. Only qualm is they missed a 5'x3' section under the house that I just noticed after going under to fix a leak.

Description of Work: I received an estimate from them. They were prompt with the appointment and very professional. For some reason, I did not receive an estimate back for a few weeks (almost a month), during which time I already had the work completed by a different company. After reviewing the estimate for comparison sake, the prices between the two companies were within a reasonable margin of one another. That said, I am happy with the company I went with, so much so I am actually having them back this year to do additional insulation work. On the flip side, I have seen a greenbean insulation truck in my neighborhood recently & have never heard anything bad about them. Hope ths helps!

Filled out on-line form for estimate and was contacted within 24 hours. Kurt came out, explained my options gave a very reasonable estimate. Work was scheduled within a week. The insulation installers had a couple of problems with their equipment which caused them to come back later to finish the job, but they were great about keeping me informed of the situation. Each job took a couple of hours and the workers did a nice job cleaning up after themselves.
Description of Work: Sprayed foam under the house on the sub-floor and cellulose in the attic.
