+ -1 moreVery reliable contractor. He worked on the roof with his employee, and got the leak fixed once and for all. A handyman had tried to patch the same area at least four times, and couldn't stop the leaking. Showed up on time both to make estimate, and to do the repair. Excellent cleanup after job completed. Price for work was middle of the road compared to three other estimates I received from other contractors.
Description of Work: Replaced approx. 50 sq ft of roof where main roof joins patio roof.

Description of Work: Replace siding back roof and side partition. Caulk and seal. Removed and repaired flashing. Cut flashing and added special fitted piece for weatherproofing. Caulked properly and thoroughly. Removed door completely, sanded and primed and used two coats of paint. Contractor took particular pride in removing much electrical eqpmt on side to place siding around and caulked behind and thru-wall. Advised of working and nonworking receptacles and repaired with fixture and covers. Daily conference with me to inspect work performed. Repaired gutter under concrete and replaced. Contractor advised when crew would work and when they would not thru many rain days and he went the extra mile to complete job thoroughly. Great Contractor!!

+ -1 moreKeith of Geaux Construction was the only roofer who has been able to locate and repair the leaks in the roof of our 100+year old home. He was courteous, very professional, precise and on time. He returned to ensure that all work was properly completed. We were very pleased with his work and have highly recommended him to our friends.
Description of Work: Scope of work was confined to rear shingle roof and rear slope of asbestos roof. Removed shingle ridge, and installed tape over ridge. Installed new slate color ridge. Removed 3" water heater pipe and galvanized vent from roof. Installed new galvanized vent, new 3" pipe and a new type B vent cap. Caulked and painted weather boards above the rear shingle roof. Caulked and sealed chimney heater/AC pipe, plumbing pipe and replaced asbestos tiles that broke during work. Cleaned up and removed all roof debris. Stood up the tin cover on chimney.

+ -1 moreABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL experience. I have a terra cotta roof that had a few leaking areas and Keith came out to take a look at it. He gave me a fair estimate and ended up doing even more work without an additional charge. He is honest, does a quality job in a timely manner, and even called back to check on the roof after the first big post-repair storm. I was happy to tell him the roof was leak-free and I am even happier to highly recommend him to anyone who will listen.

+ -1 moreKeith Davis was prompt in coming out to give an estimate, articulate in explaining his recommendations of gutters and patient with my questions. Because some of my downspouts were copper, he discussed with me using copper as well as aluminum and answered my questions about using copper where it would meet the aluminum. Where we used aluminum you can not see the difference between them and the weathered copper. Two years later the downspouts and gutters are all still working fine. We joined Angie's List after this job, but Geaux Construction has just finished installing a ridge vent on the roof of one of our rental properties and so I have gone back to report on this gutter job as long as I was reporting on the ridge vent.
Description of Work: Removed gutters and installed new gutters for a section of the house. Installed downspouts. Cleaned all gutters on house.

+ -1 moreKeith Davis had replaced the gutters on my home before and I was happy with his work and so I called him when a leak developed on another roof. He is upbeat, knowledgeable, and responsive. He came out within two days, reported on what was wrong, answered all questions about the product he was recommending and its installation and why I should not expect the problems I had with the previous defectively installed ridge vent with the one he intended to put in. He installed the new ridge vent timely and has warrantied his work. I find him a pleasure to deal with and a man of both integrity and competence.
Description of Work: Installed Cobra 3 ridge vent as a replacement for one installed defectively after Katrina.
