About us

At Costom Built Garages we do all of our own work. We do not use subcontractors. We are true carpenters, nothing is pre-fabrecated. We do the concrete, the building, the roofing, the siding, and everything else neccesary to complete your job. We have no salesmen. If you contact us for a free estamate at (504)456-6312, the owner will deal directly with you. We are licensed and insured, and have many refurals. Chances are, we built your neighbors.

They did a great job except they had a lot of delays because they had two or three jobs going at the same time. They did a great job other than that. I think I could have done it cheaper, but I can't physically do it any more.
Description of Work: I had a garage carport and a swimming pool built by Custom Built Garages.

He didn't do the work, just kept telling me he was going to do it and never followed through.
Description of Work: This guy is a fraud. I called him in October of 2012, told him I needed a garage rebuilt. He came to my home, looked at the garage, took some measurements, gave me a price (I was happy with price) and he said he would be able to start in "about 2 weeks". He then proceeded to string me along over the next 6 months, telling me each time I would call and ask when he could start and he would say "in about a week". I even asked him the second to last time we spoke if he didn't want to do my garage to just please tell me and I would get someone else. He said "oh no. Ms X, I am going to do your garage". My last contact was a week before Mardi Gras and he said he would start in a week. It's now April 3 and I haven't heard a thing from him. Don't waste your time with this guy.
