I called Bill Schell LLC to inquire about a cost estimate for a minor repair of an old small appliance wired into a junction box, which involved complexities leading to the circuit breaker which controlled major kitchen appliances needing to be turned off. After describing the problem to the receptionist, Jamie, she gave me their company cell phone number so I could text them pictures of the device in need of repair in order to facilitate a potential cost estimate. Within 15 minutes of sending the photos, Bill himself returned the call; he advised me of simple steps to take which allowed the circuit breaker to be turned back on, and also let me know that they did not themselves work with these appliances, but referred me to another service-repair vendor who specialized in parts and rebuilding of the older/rare device which had malfunctioned, where I could take the appliance to for a low-cost repair/rebuild. Both Jamie and Bill were absolutely professional and pleasant. I am reassured and very pleased to know that a contractor of such impeccable integrity is available in this area -- they receive my highest recommendation.

The entire team of electricians straight up to the owner are very professional and knowledgeable. I explained what I wanted and they not only listened but offered me better suggestions to get the look I wanted. They responded immediately with any questions or concerns I had with well spoken answers that made sense to me. The estimates were spot on - dollar for dollar. They are extremely timely, even arriving early most days, and all mess was cleaned up and removed off site.

We live in a leased property and some of the things other renters have done where not up to standard or code. After having trouble with the oven my husband pulled it away from the wall. We found a plug that had been wired by someone who did not know what they were doing. Luckily the house did not burn down! The two electricians fixed it promptly and in very tight quarters. The light switch was fixed and a new plate installed. Both completed the work in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.

Very responsive - initial order was somewhat of a rush as I needed the service combined before installing solar that had already been ordered. Meter combination went very well. Employees were very professional, polite and responsive. A couple of the circuits did not get correctly converted to 110, but Bill was very professional - immediately credited the damage and sent folks back out to fix the problem the next day. Lights in basement were installed with no issues. LED installation did not finish the way I expected due to incompatibility between LED bulbs (multiple bulbs in a chandelier) and dimmer - which from web reviews that I have seen is still a work in progress on the industry level - particularly with older equipment. However, Bill was willing to restore back to original and give full credit for that part of work. (I have decided to keep work with 1 incandenscent lamp in each chandelier which, for some unknown reason, seems to solve the dimming issue.) Overall - good crew, good work, very responsive to make sure work turned out to my satisfaction.

I contacted them for an estimate on repairs to a home. They were very quick on getting an appointment set up, very professional and knowledgeable. I received an estimate the next day. I had 3 companies look at the job, 2 of them just gave me a general price (per square foot) and and outrageous dollar amount. However Bill Schell's electric came in and did a complete walk through, the estimate included a detailed account of what had to be done in each room, and in the breaker panel, took measurements, pictures and a video to ensure they had everything listed. They had the best price I didn't use them, however I highly recommend them.

I received quotes from 3 vendors, Bill Schell was the middle cost of the 3. I chose them for quite a few reasons, and they delivered on each and every one of them. 1. The highest quote vendor told me he would need to remove all of my ceiling drywall since my attic space is very short. The cost for this alone was overwhelming, not to mention to absolute mess this would have made. Bill Schell didn't require this at all, and though likely a bit uncomfortable :), his folks had no issue navigating the attic crawl space. 2. The lowest cost vendor simply gave me a quote based on square footage, without coming to the property. I didn't feel comfortable with the lack of detail in his quoting process. Bill came to the house in advance, we discussed my specific needs, room by room, and he provided a very thorough breakdown by category of my quote prior to starting. My final cost came in exactly as quoted, with an incremental $350 for items that I added on once they were here (outdoor outlet and under sink outlet) 3. Bill's folks were able to start and complete this entire project in ~5 days, which was what he promised. They were also able to start the day after I closed on the house, and when my closing was pushed back a few times, he was very accommodating (I also communicated this to him as far in advance as possible 4. They knew I was living in the house during the rewiring, and were very conscious to work on sections at a time to that the entire house was not in chaos for the whole week. It was still chaos, but considering the breadth of work being done, I had envisioned it being far worse. They also cleaned up after themselves, every evening and when the project was done. This was a nice bonus for me, considering I had just moved into the house the day before 5. After the project was complete, I had 2 tiny issues. One was an electrical outlet in a bathroom that stopped working 2-3 months later. The other, I actually cant remember. I emailed Bill and they sent a couple of guys over the next day or so, they fixed the issue, and did not charge me for the revisit. Considering some time had passed, I appreciated that they considered this part of the overall scope of work. Would I use them again? Absolutely, 100%. I'm now looking to change some locations of some outlets in the bedrooms for ease of access and aesthetic reasons only, and have contacted them for an appointment. My only regret: It took me 10 months to write this review :)

When I called Bill about our problem he had someone come out and take a look at things within the hour for no charge. By the end of the day he had provided me with an estimate. We had tree branches fall onto our power lines which pulled on the wires and caused damage to our roof and broke the pipe leading into the exterior electrical box. He sent out Joey to take a look at things and he was very professional and helpful. He pointed out other problems to look out for besides just the electrical issues. I was able to get everything taken care of quickly and easily. He even recommended a roofer I could contact to repair the damaged roof. They were prompt, efficient and very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Bill returned my initial phone call in a timely manner and was able to get 2 guys to my place within 1-2 days. They replaced 2 bad breakers. However when I returned home that afternoon, the pool pump was not running. I found the main panel breaker tripped again. I contacted Bill about this and he said it was because they replaced the 30 amp breaker with a 20 amp breaker (30 amps are rare and they didn't have one on hand). He said he'd have some out to replace it with a 30 amp breaker on Monday, but that if it still tripped it was an issue with the pump. They did the work on Monday as promised, but unfortunately the pump is still tripping. I called Bill the following day and he was very nice to offer me some insight into what the issue probably is and tips on troubleshooting. My overall experience with Bill was very professional and helpful. I especially like that sends his invoices electronically and even offers electronic payment. I love businesses that are up on technology!
