This was a $49 big deal purchase. It took him about five or 10 minutes and that was it. He basically gave us some ideas about how to take care of the foundation around the house. He saw some cracks in the walls and stuff so it wasn't very much, but for the most part he did okay. He came out a couple of days after I bought the deal.

Al Sanchez Construction was wonderful to work with from start to finish. David and Mike came out promptly when we contacted them about some cracked walls that we'd noticed in our living room. After inspecting the home's foundation, they discovered that the damage was due to a rotten sill underneath the house and also pointed out many improper shims throughout the house that had been leftover from a previous contractor. They quickly wrote up an estimate that clearly described the work they would perform as well as any costs that might come up during the repairs. Once we decided to move forward with the repairs, Mike kept in touch with us the entire process and worked to schedule a time that worked best for us. We remained just as impressed the whole time David, Mike, Mario, and the rest of the crew set to work. Within a few hours, they had fixed the shimming, replaced the rotten sill and portions of a nearby damaged joist, and were replacing all of the siding that was removed in the process. Once the repairs were nearly complete, we discussed a column on the porch that was also damaged and David quickly gave us a cost. They promptly repaired it as well. We even noticed that they went the extra mile to re-paint a portion of the porch so that the repaired column matched exactly. Everything they touched is as good as new! We'll definitely consult with Al Sanchez Construction with any construction needs in the future and would highly recommend this company.

The original estimate to shore the house came in at $7150, but as the work progressed , additional damage was uncovered. In the end, the total amount to repair the damaged foundation and get the house and shed repaired came to approximately $16,000., an additional $8850 worth of repairs beyond the original estimate. David Sanchez, the owner, is responsive to text and emails. His crew is highly specialized in the area of foundation repair and construction and commit to difficult work. David is professional and is sensitive to meeting the client's needs and concerns. On one particular day, the crew had left tools outside and parts of the house exposed to the elements. We picked up the tools and covered the exterior walls ourselves. I spoke to David regarding this issue and he was very responsive, apologetic and grateful for telling him of the occurrence. He immediately rectified the situation and took action to address the concern.

Quick response, gave us a definitive quote within 48 hours of their visit. Gave us a coupon discount ($300) as an Angie's List customer, did the work and punch list cleanup to professional standards.

From start to finish the entire crew was excellent! They were consummate professionals, who took their time to make sure we understood everything and the job was done right. The quality of their work is absolutely evident. All around great guys, and it was reassuring for us, as new first time home owners, to know that our foundation repair was in their hands.

As a certified construction manager/construction consultant (for larger commercial work) my first instinct is keep this rare gem of a company to myself and not tell the world about them, but a deal's a deal. That being said, I bid this work pretty aggressively because it's one of the larger portions of our overall project (an investment property for my mother in the 7th Ward). ASC was not the lowest price, but something told me in the end they would be the best value. Very few times in my career have my instincts been so correct. From the time of their detailed estimate (which they honored even when discrepancies were discovered to their detriment) to coming back for relatively minor items after being paid in full this company was nothing but professional, courteous, honest, and most of all they did what they said they would do without exception (the most elusive concept in construction). You may find cheaper initial bids but mark my words you will not find better value anywhere in the city or anywhere else for that matter (I've awarded construction contracts in most of the major metro areas in America). In an industry where the cheap often comes out the most expensive I'm extremely confident I came out ahead in the end. I could go on and on but at the end of the day David Sanchez is working very hard to build a company based on hard work, patience, integrity and qualified people. It shows in his choice in project managers (Mike Pfister), the quality of his field personnel, his product/deliverables, the schedule, and experience the company provides as a whole. They were very professional and I feel they did quality work. The job cost 3K more than the original estimate, but I was told that there could be additional costs. (I just wasn't expecting 30% more). They pointed out all the work ended up having to be done and that it had been repaired the correct way. There was some previous work done the was not that great. I have already referred them to a friend who needs some repairs.

Nearly everything went well. The materials used appeared to be appropriate for the job. The estimator and the owner (I think) were always professional and punctual. The workers appeared to be skilled at the work they were performing. I experienced inappropriate behavior by the laborers during the course of the job (using my tools I had on the job site, entering the house from a window!, leaving food containers in the building, etc). However, as soon as I spoke with the two project leaders about the problem behavior, the issue was resolved. Overall, I was satisfied with the work and would use this company again.

We were very impressed with this company. They were far and away the most professional of all the estimates we got (we got three). They were always on time (actually a few minutes early), and were able to perform the work within a week of giving us the estimate, which was great because the repairs were required by the insurance company. After the repairs were completed, they also followed up to make sure we were pleased with the service.

It went well. Mike went out to the house and did a thorough inspection complete with pictures and emailed me the estimate. Although I was impressed with his professionism I didn't go with them to follow the job. I'd recommend them to anyone because their reputation precedes them.

They were very prompt, pleasant and professional. They met all their target dates and performed all the agreed-on work, plus some small additional work that was not in the original contract at no extra charge, including replacement of siding that had to be removed for sill repair and adding additional courses of brick rather than shims on piers where the sill had to be raised several inches. They cleaned up the job site very thoroughly afterward. The work was only completed a few days ago, and they encouraged me to keep in touch with them if anything crops up as the house relaxes onto its newly level foundation over the coming weeks. Their price wasn't the absolute lowest I was quoted, but I chose them anyway based on their previous good reviews and because they have a longer track-record of good work than the only company who gave me a lower quote. They were very communicative throughout the process. The owner of the company met me at my home for the initial estimate, the first day of work, and for the final walkthrough, which was very reassuring. Based on this experience I would go to them again if I need additional foundation work, and I have no reservations about recommending them.

The gentlemen from Al Sanchez Construction showed up promptly and were extremely courteous and professional. They did a complete review of our home, both inside and out, to understand the nature of damage we're experiencing in the drywall and floor. The men went under the house and evaluated our pier and joist structure. They were terrific and did an excellent job. They even reviewed a report we had sent them ahead of time, from a structural engineer, with an assessment and pictures. We're looking to understand the nature of our issues and how to fix them. We believe Sanchez Construction did an excellent job getting us closer to those answers.

It went well. We received two quotes from them before they started work. Once they did, they noticed they had to add more piers than they originally planned, but they didn't charge us because it was something they missed when generating the first two quotes.

From beginning to end, this has been the most painless major repair we have had to do to our home. I obtained three company's estimates. I made our decision based on reviews from Angie's List and the BBB and the confidence I felt after meeting with Mr. Sanchez. The estimate was provided to me the same day as my meeting with Mr. Sanchez. It included a detailed description of the work to be done together with a diagram of the proposed work to stabilize the foundation. Work began on the agreed upon date and time. I can't say enough good things about the hard working and dedicated crew the showed up day after day and worked diligently from the time they arrived till time to knock off for the day. The men were all courteous, polite and worked well as a team.The property was cleaned at the end of each day and no mess was ever left on the work site. I was kept informed throughout the entire process no matter how small the detail, I was in constant contact with either Mr. Sanchez or Mike. After the stabilization/lift was complete, I was pleasantly surprised at how meticulously the crew brought my property back to the same (if not better) condition than it was before the project started. My neighbors all complimented about the restoration of my garden to what it was before all the digging. I can't say enough good things about this company, the crew and the whole project. I hope to never have to work on our foundation again but if I do, I will rehire Al Sanchez Construction again without hesitation.

Very quick turnaround- came, looked at the house, gave me a price that day. Scheduled the work to start the following week. Workers were very professional. Work was finished quickly and well done.

They take a lot of care when leveling so as to minimize the damage. Mike and Dave were very good at communicating throughout the job, which took about a week. I feel their work was of superior quality. That said, workers are workers and take care to protect anything you do not want dust on or in or have lumber thrown on.

David and Michael were very thorough and informative when completing the initial estimate and answered all my questions. We hired Al Sanchez construction to repair and level our foundation. We live in a 1930s home in Uptown New Orleans with a slab foundation. This past summer the foundation in the back corner of the house began to settle significantly. We received quotes from several companies for leveling the foundation and repairing the damage. We chose Al Sanchez construction and are very satisfied with the results. The entire job, from estimates to completion, was done professionally and courteously. I met with David and Mike to discuss the issue and talk about solutions. David explained the process and helped me understand exactly what they would do, step by step. He never pressured me to hurry and make a decision, but assured me they could get us on the schedule when we were ready to move forward if we chose Al Sanchez. Additionally over the next month while we were reviewing our options, Mike answered my additional questions quickly and courteously via email and phone. Once we made the decision and scheduled the work, David and Mike again met with me to go over the details and answer any additional questions. When the work started, David and his crew arrived promptly and reviewed everything with us. The workers were polite and skilled at their jobs. They worked hard every day and always kept the job site clean of trash and were careful with our lawn and patio. At one point, when they were cleaning up, one of the workers was on his hands and knees in our yard picking through the grass to ensure no debris was left behind. The work took less than two weeks and produced excellent results. I felt completely confident with Al Sanchez construction from day one and we are very happy with the results. I would highly recommend this company for any job big or small. They made a very stressful situation as stress free as possible!

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the services provided by Al Sanchez Construction. It's a pleasure to do business with such a professional company. They came (on time!) and gave an accurate estimate. Once hired, the crew showed up on time and proceeded to do all the work swiftly and well. Because there were rotted beams beneath under our house, there was a slight additional charge that we were informed of immediately. They left our yard clean and free of construction debris. I would recommend this company again and again; they really are fantastic!

The team was extremely quick and thorough. Our house isn't the easiest to work under, as it's barely raised, but it was no problem for Al Sanchez constructions. Would certainly recommend.
