I called ABC to come out and fix our refrigerator. It wasn't keeping anything cold. The technician came out two days later. He was on time and very professional. He examined the refrigerator and told me it needed two new parts, and that they would have to be ordered. He asked if I wanted the work done, and explained it would take four to six days for the parts to arrive. He stated that he tried to locate the parts, but was unable to find them anywhere in the city. I agreed and paid for the service appointment. He said he would call me once the parts arrived. I called ABC a week later and asked if the parts had arrived. I was told they had not arrived. I waited another 3 or 4 days and called them back. Still no parts. I called ABC several more times, and the parts were not in yet. Three weeks had passed since the initial service call. Out of sheer frustration, I jotted down the make, model, and serial number of our refrigerator, grabbed the sheet ABC left which listed the parts necessary to fix our refrigerator, and dropped by the appliance parts store three blocks from my home. They had both parts in stock . I asked if they could recommend someone to install them. They did, and they called him for me. He met me at the parts store and advised me to buy only one of the parts, as it very likely did not need the other. He came over and fixed my refrigerator, only one part was needed. ABC did finally call me back. I felt that 3 weeks was an excessive amount of time to wait to fix a common refrigerator. I feel ABC could have done a better job communicating by simply calling me and letting me know what was going on, instead of just leaving me hanging. ABC's technician did say he would call when the parts arrived; however, I did not anticipate the wait would be 3 weeks, when I was told four to six days. They were always professional when dealing with me on the phone, so perhaps this was just an isolated incident and isn't the norm for their company.

A B C came the same day, they were on time, and had the part in the truck. The technician was friendly, clean and professional. I would use them again for a refrigerator repair.
