It went exactly as it was explained. Everything mentioned in the contract was done from the excavation to the pilings and the clean up. Well organized and hard working team and Joe was easy to contact and answered every question.

I was was so glad that I picked Joe from AI House Leveling - I had issues with my back door getting out of balance and a huge dip in the floor in the kitchen - I called a lot of foundation companies and AI was the only company that actually got "under" the house to inspect it prior to giving me a quote - I found that amazing and from that I picked AI - Paul and Rainel worked on the house and was able to replace 10 piers and the joist and footings - a big job - it was done quickly and they cleaned up every night which I greatly appreciated - Joe came by every day to check on the work and the progress - Consider me a happy and satisfied customer -

I had gotten 5 other quotes on my project. I needed a lot of work done. I had termites and my foundation needed serious repair. I decided to get one last quote from A1 and I could not be more happy that I did. Everything about them was excellent. I called and Louis came out that day. He got a quote the following day. Their prices were excellent. So we moved forward. Everything about the job was as good as you could ask for. I need the work done quickly and within a week, his guys were on the job. His men were there everyday they were supposed to. They finished the job within the two weeks that was estimated. They ended up raising portions of my house over 5 inches. I was worried that there would be damage to the house liked cracked granite, but all that I had to fix was some sheetrock. I really could not say enough good things about A1. I would whole-heartedly recommend them for a project. Great service, great finished project and reasonably priced. They know what they are doing and they are great to work with.

Company was very professional and met all of our agreed upons terms with zero hassle. The crew is made up of very hard workers and they made sure I knew everything going on every step of the way. From the initial estimate visit to the end was a very smooth process and I would definitely hire this company again.

The work went very well! The workers started on time, and on the date specified in my contract. My question were answered promptly and to my satisfaction and the crew finished two days ahead of schedule, Also, the debris was removed effectively and efficiently. NOT trash was left behind. Overall, the project went very well

Called on Friday, Saturday morning had a salesman/adjuster to my mom?s home, he took at least a goof two hours to survey the work that need to be done. Very Professional. After agreeing on a mutual price for all the work to be done. Contract was signed on a Saturday.. The leveling crew was our at my mom?s house that flowing Monday. These men worked from the time they arrived to the time they left. The found more damage while doing the repair work and didn?t even try to get my mom to pay and more. Highly recommend the company.. Very Professional company all the way to owner to his leveling work crew.
Description of Work: My Mother’s home was 70 years old, the house was unleveled, floor beams was rotten or just plain moved or gone. It didn’t have enough ventilation for it to ever dry out completely under the house.

A-1 came out and raised the structure high enough to begin building footings and then continued to raise the building to the height we agreed to in the contract, 4 feet. All new piers were built on the footings and then the leveling began. When A-1 was finished the structure was uniform in height and very level. The job took about 1 week and I am very satisfied with the work and with A-1 in particular.
Description of Work: He raised a 16' x 28' accessory building that was basically on the ground up four feet.

Our house is just over 1,100 sq ft. It was already 4' off the ground on pre-made pillars and leaning to one side. We wanted to go to 8' and stabilize the house on piers with a concrete footing. Out of all of the providers I called they were the only ones to respond. They came right out and started an estimate. They were personable and helpful. At first the price was outrageous. The general contractor then brought a subcontractor to the house and the price came down by 30 percent. The job began fairly shorty after that. Our Parish is difficult when it comes to construction permits, thus the rather poor condition of St. Charles Parish, and we struggled with moving ahead. The subcontractor did an outstanding job dealing with these setbacks and kept us informed frequently of his progress. That delay was just a few days. The work had finally begun and my husband, who is great with construction detaiis noticed a couple of items that were not according to our contract. The footer size was wrong at first. When we addressed this, the General Contractor and the Subcontractor had some communication difficulties. This was shared with us and we worked through it, although it was rocky. There are short tempers involved in this group. |NOTE: Be firm and precise about what you want and do NOT be bullied or intimidated. Also... check the work. Once we came to an agreement on the footer, the work continued. When the piers started going up, again, it was not according to our contract. Both the piers and the footer were significantly smaller than what we had in our contract. Apparently the contract between General and Sub were different than what we were sold. I have some concerns about that but they all worked to honor the agreement we had. BE CAREFUL and pay attention to the work. Overall, the quality of the work appears good. The house is old and it is now stable and secure. The footing and piers are strong and the house is level. |The details are a problem. The labor is VERY unskilled. They do not take care of the owners property. I had to request a portable bathroom as they were urinating all over my yard (it is fenced it and they did it while I was home.) They consumed most of my citris fruit. They left food wrappers all over my yard. |The workmanship is sloppy. The footer form was sloppy and they couldn't get all of the wood out of the form. They are still promising to clean up, 2 weeks later, and my yard is still filthy. I have started doing it myself but my husband says to wait. The concrete fill work in the piers was sloppy and my husband is going to fix it himself as he wants it done right. Also, when they removed their items, they took 6 of our own house raising jacks. They have promised to return them but so far.. not yet. They left the stairs to the house hanging off the porch and my husband came home and secured them so they would not fall off. |I believe they did a good job and my house will remain stable. It is old and I was worried about it. They straightened a crooked front porch without incident. They secured the house that was leaning badly and was in jeopardy of falling.|They are not high tech in their approach but we needed poured concrete not premade forms. The process has taken about 4 weeks.|I can't tell you if I would use them again. I definitely would not for concrete. That workmanship needs some TLC. The contractor/subcontractor relationship is questionable. The contractor has a temper and is a bit of a bully. He absolutely made the situation right per out contract but I did have to be very very firm wih him about our expectations. It seems like I had to be involved too much to get what was written on the contract. In fact. I made daily calls to ensure we were getting what we requested. OVERALL: They were responsive, completed the project in a timely manner and my home is raised and secure. If you have the time and attention to detail to stay on top of this group, they will do a good job for you. UPDATE: nearly one year later were are still dealing with them. Grout is falling out of the columns, the house isn't level, they still have not removed the form for the.concrete, they shorted the footer, one column is turned differently than the others, they did not fill the column as indicated on the contract and the list goes on. I have lowered my rating of them as this is ridiculous. They go on and on about " making it right" I say how about doing it right the first time.
