 + -1 moreHe gave the price and the time he could come, and was true to his word. arrived that morning and was finished in the 3 days he said it would take. My floors are beautiful. I am getting so many compliments for them. I will be hiring Joey to do more work as soon as we finish with the rest of the carpentry work that is going on in the house. Also, he is very trust worthy. I left him alone to do the job and did not have to worry.
Description of Work: Joey Dugan refurbished two bedrooms for me. they are maple wood floors that had been covered with carpet for the last 30 years or more. these floors had a lot of wax build up from years of being waxed. He sanded and sealed them.

Description of Work: Mr. Joey tackled 2000 square foot of hard wood flooring in my home. He sanded and refinished them. Everyone I told about the project referred him. They were right. He did everything he said he would and they are beautiful.

 + 0 moreMr. Dugan was prompt at returning my initial phone call and was available throughout the project. He went to the site and gave me an estimate based on the square footage. It was the exact price I paid at the end. He was everything I could have hoped for or expected, providing actual samples of stains for me to choose from and keeping me informed as we went along. He had to search a good bit to find the stain I chose as it was not readily available. He formulated a special mix to then lighten the stain. Then he left some stain with me for the thresholds that will be added and instructions for how to finish them myself. He cleaned up after himself, had his own equipment, and was not deterred by minor inconveniences like closet doors. it is obvious that he has a lot of experience working under a variety of conditions. He is a very pleasant person to work with and the results are absolutely beautiful floors.
Description of Work: Refinished 852 sq. feet of hardwood flooring that had been covered up by carpet and wet padding.
