Description of Work: They were very quick in trimming of my trees. They cleaned the area wonderfully. No ruts or no marks in the yard where they had been. Very reasonable.

+ -1 moreHolyfield took about a couple of weeks to get with me to provide an estimate. Their estimate was twice as high ($3000) as another company I had contacted ($1500). The other company was also faster in responding to my to my request for an estimate. Both companies were licensed and insured, so I went with the other company.
Description of Work: I needed a large tree cut down that was growing right over my garage. The tree was dying and beginning to drop large limbs. I got an estimate from Holyfield Tree Service and other tree services.

+ -1 moreI called Holyfield's on the recommendation of someone I knew. It took a week or two for them to return my call. Once Mr. Holyfield did, he was very courteous. He met me at my home at my convenience to provide an estimate. The tree that required removal would be a difficult job given that previous owners had allowed to grow between the wall the garage and the neighbor's privacy fence - and there was no room to maneuver whatsoever. A bucket truck would have to be used to cut off each branch individually, swing it around, and lower it to the driveway to avoid damaging the fence and my roof. The service was licensed, registered with the BBB, and has an arborist. The estimate given for that job plus some minor trimming of other trees was $3000, assuming he could work in between his contract jobs. The estimate seemed high, so I called another tree service.
Description of Work: Called for an estimate to have a large dying tree overhanging my garage removed plus a few branches trimmed from a few other trees.
