They did fine and I liked them. They were reasonable, prompt and they knew what they were doing.

Estimator came measured the home and gave an estimate. Went by their office and spoke with project manager and sale contact. Allowed to take home samples of roofing material so spouse could pick her favorite. Sales contact gave price and I gave okay to start work. They came on day expected but had to cancel because of weather. Rescheduled and crew showed on rescheduled date early in morning. The crew consisted of a ground man who kept the site clean and the roofers (about 8) who tore off old roof, installed new roofing paper, installed new shingles. One thing that struck me as very unusual was that the roofers did not stage the bundles of shingles on the roof. A roofer would carry a single bundle up to the roof, install them, then come back to ground to retrieve a fresh bundle. I later asked why they did this and was told this was done 1) to prevent bundles from sliding off the roof and 2) to prevent breaking the shingle over the peak of the roof. I've seen other roofing jobs where there was quite a bit of wastage on new shingles because they slid off roof or were broken by bending the bundle over the peak of the roof. The crew worked 2 days to tear off the old roof and install 64 squares of roofing. Two gentlemen came back a few days later and installed step flashing around 5 dormers and a chimney and installed a cricket around the chimney. would highly recommend Garcia for any roofing job. All the people I dealt with (the estimator, sales contact, project manager, site foreman and the roofers) were very professional and thorough. Garcia has been a very bright spot in a long history of dealing with contractors.

After researching roofers on the Angie's List Website, I decided to contact Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal to discuss the replacement of a roof on my residence. Mr. Olman, a representative of Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal, came to my residence on October 15, 2012 to discuss this matter. After choosing the type of shingles, color, and discussing costs, I entered into a contract with the company with the starting date to have the roof replaced at 8:00 a.m. on October 21, 2012. On October 20, 2012, I received a call from Marcy with their office confirming the October 21st date. I waited until approximately 9:00 a.m. on October 21, 2012 and no one from Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal came to my home. I then contacted Mr. Olmon by telephone to tell him that the roofing crew did not show up as agreed. He was very apologetic and blamed Marcy at the office. Marcy then contacted me by telephone also being apologetic; but blamed Olmon. The roofing crew from Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal finally arrived at my home to do the work the following day, October 22, 2012. What frustrated me with the entire process was that after the contract is signed and a down payment in made, there is no contact between the management of Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal and its workers to the homeowner as to what will occur from the beginning of the project to the end. There were times when the workers left for the day with the work incomplete without me knowing when they would return. Their workers lalso urinated behind my garage. The company does not provide a portable toliet for its workers. After the work was complete, there were roofing materials that were unused left at my home which I paid for in advance. Again, without notice, an employee of Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal came with the invoice for the final payment along with a truck to retrieve those unused materials. After I contacted Marcy with Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal about this matter, then she explained to me to deduct a certain amount for the unused materials from the final payment.

It went very well. Garcia Roofing wants to satisfy the customer. We were pleased.

Service is good. The attic fan leaked after their job, and they responded immediately.

Olman came out early and gave me a great quote, which was $2500 cheaper than another company. They came out within 2 weeks and did the job in a day with no problems. Very professional all the way around. Thanks.

They said they would do the roofing work and the gutters, but wanted us to hire a separate contractor to repair the patio and the patio contractor wanted $10,000 to do the work. Even though they were very good at roofing work, they didn't have the skills to handle the whole project, so we hired another contractor who was able to handle the whole project for us. Otherwise, they were very thorough, truthful, and punctual.

Estimator was very informative and had samples with him in order to choose various optional colors and features. Job was installed quickly and on budget. Workers were very polite and site was cleaned up well after the work. Workmanship appears to be high quality

The job went very smooth. Garcia Roofing is dependable, knowledgeable and reliable. They arrived on time, completed the job and cleaned up after. Marcy was wonderful in helping us pick out the materials for our roof as well as answering any questions we had in a timely manner. We had our first hurricane this year and the roof did great! I can't say enough about this company; they are wonderful!!!!! Very trustworthy!!!

Called for an estimate and even though it had been raining they came out promptly on the specified date and time. Received the estimate in a timely manner and after receiving a couple more estimates decided to go with Garcia even though they weren't the lowest price because of their on-time performance during the estimating phase. Two man crew came out on the day and time promised and worked through the better part of the day, replacing the flashing around my chimney and making other roof repairs in the same general area. We've been through two good rains since and no leaks so far - I'll let you know if that changes.

It went well. The only problem was that we couldnt communicate with any one on the roofing crew as the all they spoke was spanish. Eventually they called an English speaking supervisor but its not the same as having someone out at the jobsite. I suggest they have at least one person who can speak at least some English on the crew.When your spending this kind of money you want to be sure they are aware of some things.

My friend had used them so I called them for a quote. They showed up on time and gave me an estimate on the roof. They explained everything.

They are really good. I would recommend them to others. The quality of their work has been very good. They are dependable and if I have a question about something they answer it right away. If there is an issue or whatever they take care of it right then. They resolve it. They clean up every day after themselves. They are not the cheapest but I would grade them an A for price. Some other estimates I got were like $2500 more. They are doing a good professional job.

The job went wonderful, and I highly recommend them. The job only took one day.

Garcia did not reroof our home due to the reasons detailed above.

It was a new construction. They did everything really well. They just came back to do an inspection. They were here when they said they would be. They were prompt, and professional. I would use the services again.

We did not hire them as they do not traditionally service our area and the cost to have them travel to rural Wilson was out of our price range.

They did a good job and their prices were fair. They were real professional and knew what they were doing. They could not speak English but we communicated okay. I will use them again in the future.

Garcia was one of two quotes I received for the work. Garcia was significantly less expensive than my other quote and did a more complete inspection prior to doing the work. They were delayed slightly because of weather. The job took six hours to complete and was all done by one man. After the work was completed he cleaned up the entire area completely. I would definitely use Garcia roofing again.

Once we had decided to use Garcia, we contacted them, paid the down payment and set a date for work to begin. Workers arrived on time, worked steadily and completed the job in one day. They cleaned up the the work area and left no trash. Company was prompt with response to telephone calls and with paperwork.ing

The Salesman was very helpful and explained in detail what would be done and an estimate of the time it would take. Marcy stayed in touched with us throughout the whole job, and checked several times to see that the work was going as planned. The crew showed up on time and worked non-stop for 1-1/2 days. They worked very fast and were quite (except of course the hammering-which anyone would expect). The crew was excellent and clean up was EXCEPTIONAL. I had read some comments about the workers not being able to speak english, we did not have a problem with this, in fact, I'm not sure that would have been a factor in our selecting this company.

They came out and did what was needed to my satisfaction.

They were professional. The entire project was done in less than 3 days. The roof looks and functions very well.
