It could not have been better. This was a busy period for the Baton Rouge area with the recent flooding and people needing work done. Garcia worked me in and sent out a gentleman who gave me an estimate. They gave me a very fair estimate for the work; they said I would not need a new gutter. They gave me the first available slot to do the work, and sent two men out who did a great job for me. And thankfully they cleaned up behind themselves before they left. I would hire Garcia again because everything that I needed was very professionally handled.

The work preformed and the two workman that did it were excellent! I could not have expected anything better. The only minor complaint I could have is that the response to some of my questions during the estimating and scheduling phases was a little slow but only a very minor issue.

I was very pleased with their service. Once they got to me, they finished everything efficiently and professionally. They cleaned up after themselves, and did an all-around great job.

The work went very well. I called the company on Monday and the work was completed on Wednesday. I was in phone contact with their office, as the repair crew were working. Miscommunication between us resulted in the work crew leaving before I could pay them. Called the office and they were ok with that and said I could either mail the payment or come by their office. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Everyone I was in contact with were very understanding of our situation, even suggested we remove the power vents and install the wind turbines. Office staff were a delight to work with also. I would recommend this company to anyone who may have roof problems!!!

The process went extremely well. The estimator came out to my house the same day, was prompt and explained all the details of items that needed replacing. Once my insurance company approved the work, Garcia started the work as soon as the materials arrived. The new chimney and chimney surround looks far better than it did before.

This was the second time we've used Garcia. They installed a roof on another house and when we add hail damage on our home, we called Garcia. They provided an estimate for a full roof replacement and new gutters. We then added a second phase, of replacing two existing skylights and adding two skylights. All the work was done to our satisfaction. In the process of installing the new roof, Garcia discovered water damage to our chimney. Garcia fashioned a custom made cap that repaired the chimney. The work went well and was handled professionally. Our estimator, Cesar Padilla, kept us informed at all stages of the work. We would recommend Garcia.

Called office and was asked if this was an insurance claim and I said no....Dustin, my estimator called me later that morning and I had Dustin come out the same day....WOW!!! Dustin came out and recommended I get my homeowners insurance adjuster to come out and inspect hail damage that he found. I called and scheduled my adjuster to come out and Dustin said to make sure and call him so he can meet the adjuster. To my surprise, my insurance would cover about 80% of the cost. I did not think the insurance would cover because my roof was 25 years old. Marcos, the project manager called me to schedule the day for the project to start. Roofers arrived about 6:30 A.M. and by 7:30 the entire roof was already had been removed...by 8:30 the new membrane was being installed. In between that time, the roofing materials 18 wheeler pulled up and off loaded all the materials with a forklift. Prior to them installing the roofing cap, I asked the roofers why the ridge vent was not being installed...they called Marcos who had an employee come by and drop off the ridge vent which was not originally delivered on the truck. I can truly say these guys worked their behinds off, were very courteous and by 3:15 they were pulling away from my house. Those employees were awesome. Fast service, great response time from Dustin and Marcos. Thanks a million.Definitely, would recommend without any hesitation.Thanks Garcia Roofing for a great job.

We had Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal fabricate and install a copper roof over our portico. They did an excellent job. They had to postpone due to rain on one occasion, but kept us informed. The installers arrived on time and finished the job sooner than we expected. They cleaned up after the installation and were very professional. We are well satisfied and would highly recommend them.

They showed up on date and time of scheduled service, the crew was organized and efficient. The crew absolutely new what they were doing, got in and out in less time than expected.

I'm very happy with the quality of the work. My only issue is that the employees who were sent did not speak English at all. There was a huge language barrier. I tried to talk to them about what they were doing and how it was going to be done and in what color but did not understand a word.

Garcia hand nailed my new shingles which gives a better installation than using nail guns. The workers did a thorough job of installing the new roof and cleaning up afterwards. I have been very pleased with my new roof. I would recommend Garcia to anyone.

All Garcia employees involved in the inspection, estimating, removal of roof, selection of new roof & installation of new roof did a great job. They kept the worksite clean. I would highly recommend Garcia Roofing to others.

Finished work was far better than expected. Quick and very professional.

The workers arrived at first light and began removal of existing roof. A barrier was installed on the roofs edge to prevent loose shingles from falling from the roof and damaging my landscaping. Workers then collected the old shingles and tossed them into a dump truck, eliminating a lot of waste in the yard and also preventing a good portion of the nails from falling into the yard. After the roof was approx. 70% removed, the sheet metal expert arrived and carefully removed the existing chimney flashing. Minor deck repair was needed around the chimney which he dispatched immediately. He then took the flashing back to his shop, used it as a pattern/template and then made another that fit perfectly. Furthermore, he made a couple of improvements to the original design that was very well received. Around mid-morning the truck delivering the shingles arrived. The shingles were removed from the flatbed with a wide tired, all terrain forklift. Despite my specific approval, the crew leader would not allow the forklift driver to operate the lift on any surface except my driveway, saying it might damage the lawn. Therefore the workers would hand carry approx. 160 bundles of shingles around the house and onto my roof. The roofing crew arrived and installed the new edge molding and starter strips, then began the roofing. The roof was completely finished and the property cleaned in the same day. A large out building was also re-roofed. Garcia located extra short nails that did not penetrate the roof decking so that the cathedral style ceiling would not have nails sticking through the decking. Two other companies whose estimates I obtained had mentioned that locating the short nails would be a problem. Garcia's crew showed complete respect for my property and their professionalism was outstanding. The following day I was visited by an inspector who removed the unused shingles (which I was credited for) and inspected the property and job. Marcos (my salesman) also stopped by to inspect the job and thank me for the work. Garcia Roofing and Sheet Metal exceeded my expectations in every aspect of the job.

I was out of state when it was done so the picture I got from the completion looked great. I was informed that Garcia cleaned up really well . It did not take long for them to get back with me on the original estimate to scheduling a construction date. Do's and Don'ts. Do your research. Take your own measurements (the web has formulas on roof dimensions, Home Depots' website down). research pricing on materials. Normally a residential roof is: A layer of bituminous (tar) felt Shingles (pricing will vary on what you want) I went with a good 25yr architectural shingle. Metal flashing in the valley sections Drip edge Ridge cap at the peak of the roof (maybe) Penetrations like turbans, vents for piping and chimneys. Nails Price all material like you were doing yourself it so you have good idea of material cost. Remember, contractor will use a crew of a 4-8 to strip, replace your roof and clean up, in about 6-8 hours. Don't hesitate to ask about those costs. And get other bids. Tim at Garcia was very up front in answering my questions and I enjoyed working with him.

Gutters wete cleaned, but they didn't do downspouts.

They were here when they said they would be. The man who came to the house took extra time to explain everything he was doing.

Everything went very smoothly. Several members of the Garcia Roofing team were in contact with me before, during, and after the job. The roof was replaced very fast and extremely professionally. All roofing accessories such as plumbing jacks, flashing, attic ventilation systems were replaced and painted to accent the single colors. Overall a very impressive job for such a short period of time that we had to work with. I would recommend Garcia to anyone in the Baton Rouge area that is looking at having roof work done.

A little hard to get a hold of. Called sorts of number, had different parts to call. Hard to get in contact with.

I would diffinately recommend using this company, largely because great customer service provided by my sales rep Tim Rusk. Was very helpful from start to finish. He helped me thru the whole process and made sure it was done right.
