 + 1 moreEMC performed the audit and provided a 30page analysis showing basic, medium and delux upgrades. They also explained how the home performs and performed calculations to right-size ducts and AC. Their analysis was more complete and accurate than any other (I have had three blower door tests and 5 AC estimates). Their prices initially appeared high, but in retrospect (after having different contractors do the insulation and AC replacement) were fair. They were hard to get on the phone to follow up with later estimates for some parts of the job. They are one of only two or three firms in this region who can do a full energy audit, plus the follow-up work.
Description of Work: EMH performed a complete home energy audit, including blower door test, and provided estimates for several jobs to be done, including insulation, sealing the crawl space, balancing AC returns, and new central AC with significant duct work.

 + -1 moreOutstanding communication and support from the initial phone call, through inspection, quote and work performed. Knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations during inspection. Team arrived right on time, were neat, conscientious and did a top notch job. I would use them again and not hesitate a second to refer them to a friend.
Description of Work: Blown in attic insulation, raising the R value from approximately 8 to 49. As you can imagine has made a huge difference in the comfort level in the house.
