Windmill Creek Apartments

They have in their contract that if you fail to give them proper notice that you want to go month to month at the end of your contract, they'll renew you for the same contract again. When I signed the lease and asked about that, they'd said to not pay that any attention, that I'd go month-to-month at the end. They misrepresented that, and I had to pay 2 months rent to get out of there. Of course the woman who had signed me up didn't work there anymore to discuss it with--I'd been through 3 managers in the short time I was there. The apartment was great and maintenance was good, it was one of the best apartments I've ever had. Everything was very good except for the contract and the way it was represented to me. Everything is good--just look out for the contract.
