Couldn’t tell me what was definitively wrong with my AC but still charged me the diagnostic and small repair fee. Came up with a price for the actual job without knowing how much the part cost. They can’t explain what a small repair is either. Only reason they didn’t get 1 star is because the guy was on time.

We have a very old home that required careful consideration around Heating/AC installation to replace floor furnaces and window units. The house has high ceilings, is not insulated, and is therefore very drafty. Our considerations included cost, efficiency, effectiveness and because the house is so old, aesthetics of the unit as a whole. After several consultations and estimates from various companies, we chose Stuart Services and couldn't be more pleased. Their patience with us as we took our time deciding our best options was remarkable. They made multiple trips to inspect, suggest, review and explain the plan, as well as answer our enormous list of questions. In addition, their financing plan made it able for us to afford such a large expense. The folks in the office were quick, helpful and patient. The installation crew were quick, clean and also patient, as mentioned, we had many questions and concerns and the crew included us in every step of the installation process. The units exceed our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend Stuart Services to someone in the market for mini splits.

They would not say flat out if and when they can come to do our job. Instead they just ask us to wait for their call. We waited for all day and in the end they said they couldnt come during regular hours, but could come after hours with an extra of $200 fees. It’s a waste of time, and we should have gone find another service provider.

All work was completed on time and the work area was cleaned up after.

I pay $75 a year and they do a Winter and a Summer check on the A/C and the heating units. I've been with them for like ten years. They are fantastic. I would grade them an A on everything.

After months of inspections, quotes, revisits, and calls from different vendors, once the decision was made to go with Stuart, it was all pretty straight-forward. Two guys (Donald and Jimmy) showed up first thing in the morning at 8 AM and they worked until roughly 8 PM when our old small FPE panel was completely replaced by the glorious new 200 amp Square D panel. Basically the new electric panel was so large it didn't fit in the pantry where the old panel was and had to be mounted in a new area, making the old panel location a junction box. Donald and Jimmy had all the tools from their vans to install the new panel and cut and drill and rewire everything. It was a lot of work. I knew it was a complex job but didn't expect it to take 12 hours for two guys. They barely had time to eat lunch. The best part is that the City of Mandeville sent an inspector the following day and everything passed code! It's been a few weeks since Stuart Services did the work and my wife and I remain very satisfied with them. Yes, Stuart Services was the most expensive of the six quotes we received, but they were also the most professional, used the best parts, and successfully completed the task without asking mid-job for more money or more time. Work didn't stop at 5 PM. They labored until dark and didn't leave until the work was 100% finished. Stuart does everything by the book, which means that they're licensed, insured, and can have the local municipal check their work if you request it. For the complex electric panel replacement that required moving the panel location and bringing everything up to modern electric code, they certainly proved why they have outlasted the competition. Yes, this is a long review but Angie's List was instrumental in forming our list of potential vendors so this is our way of giving back. Hopefully the review will be helpful to someone else in similar circumstances .

They came out as promised in a timely fashion. Their technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. They showed up for an emergency call the night before we were expecting Hurricane Nate to hit us. They are dedicated to their customer service. I have and will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They seem to be competitive with all the other bids that I had, so average with everybody else. They were not better than anybody else.

It went great. They got my A/c fixed and for a very reasonable price. Everyone is very nice and the techs are very professional. Would recommend to everyone.

It's the only company we've used off your site that had bad ratings, and I decided just to give them a chance for air conditioning, and I was very happy so now I have actually a contract with them for heating and air conditioning and electric. They have terrible ratings with your company, and that was one of the things I asked, once I decided I liked them and then I was going to get and give them a contract. It's so unlike me to use somebody who doesn't have a good rating, both my husband and I are still surprised today that I ended up even calling them, and now they've been here probably 6, 7 times. It worked out, I'm still surprised I did it though. The quality is really good. If you could do pluses or minuses I'd even go plus on professionalism, so professional every time they're here.

Badly. They told me they were coming at a certain time, a four hour window. They confirmed this with an email. I called again in the morning and they confirmed again. They did not show up, they did not have an explanation, and they did not offer to come late to do the job. Without telling me they rescheduled to a day I could not be around. I fired them. They were extremely unprofessional. No excuse.

They bumped it off the existing wiring and then added new wiring. It was major electrical work; it was $7,000 worth of work. I know I won't call them again because for the amount of work we thought was going to be taken care of and the amount of money that we spent after it was all said and done things did not get done like we thought they would. The estimator said we did not talk about that, we did not talk about that and so on. So we did and, no, it did not get done, yet for $7.000 it was outpriced for sure. The things that we talked about initially we thought were included after it was said and done. We watched the workers the whole time they were working and we asked the workers why they were not doing specific jobs, they said it was not on their work order. Yet when we sat down and talked to the initial consultant about the estimate and all the work we wanted done, it was all supposed to be included. It became almost like nickel and diming us if we wanted to add this and we wanted to add that. We already thought all of that was included. The amount of work for $7,000 we were not satisfied with because we actually thought that more work would be done. When we asked about the work that we thought would be done they said it would be an additional cost. For what we paid for $7,000 we don't think the value was there. But the thing is that it got done and we had to call them back out here and inquire about overloading on a breaker -- things were flipping and stuff like that. Then we got the guy that initially came out and gave us the estimate give us a rundown on everything that done and he kept saying we did not talk about those things. I think there were too many chiefs and not enough Indians. They only listen to what the work orders say; they won't do anything other than what is on the work order. The quality of the work looks good and they did what was expected. We did not want holes in the wall so they ran lines on the outside of the walls. The workers were willing to work with us when we asked them not to go a certain way or certain height to put it at a certain level and this and that. The quality of work seemed to be okay. When we had to call them back to have them come out there was no urgency. It just seemed like whenever we called there and had a question about something and all that the workers could not do anything unless the supervisor came out. Finally when it was all said and done and we were starting to have electrical problems like a breaker blowing we had to call back and then they sent somebody out for a quality check. He fixed it. The guys got here at 8:00 every morning and they started working but they did waste a lot of time kind of standing around talking. I mean, they got the job done -- it took them almost a week to do it. But they were punctual every morning. When it was time to go home in the afternoon they left at their scheduled time so whatever it was that they were working on they stopped and left.

I attempted to receive emergency services for a plumbing leak in the attic by calling Stuart Services at 8:24 pm on a Sunday night. I left a message on their voice mail requesting emergency service. It's now 6:25 am Monday morning, and I've yet to receive a return phone call from this company. Useless in emergency situations.

I stayed off work for the 4-hour window and they could never make it. I gave them a second chance for a 2-hour window on a day the following week and they couldn't make that window either. I gave up after that.

Stuart services sent 2 technicians. They were prompt and professional. The work was done quickly and they left no mess. They pointed out safety issues that had been corrected and gave excellent instructions on using the electrical box safely. I would use them again.

Received a guaranteed price quote. Cost of work was the same as quote. Completely removed old electrical panel, brought feed up to current code, replaced with new cutoff and electrical panel with lifetime warranty.

On initial visit for quote, went over many different options available. Advised me to probably not get some of the more expensive options I was looking into (zoning, variable speed) as their benefit in my houses layout would probably not outweigh the extra costs. Provided a guaranteed price quote for the work. A special that became available before the work was finished was included, so I received a higher end thermostat than what was quoted and the final cost was actually slightly less than the quote. The workers who came out to do the work were prompt, friendly, and professional. The new system is fantastic. Although the weather cooled off some the bill before the new system and the bill after the new system (it has the low 90's instead of the upper 90's), my electricity bill dropped 60%.

The technician was prompt and professional. Clog removal turned out to be more complicated than expected (could not reach clog from roof drain), but performed services for quoted cost. Cleared clog. Found approximate location of cleanout using video camera. Performed sewer inspection, created inspection video, explained parts of video and left a copy.
