Called Seruntine office, they sent tech person and asst on Friday Aug. 19. These two did a good job,professional, likeable. Checked for cause of loss of cooling capacity in main AC, found freon leak in evaporator coil, put 4 lbs freon in system, said this would take care of me over the weekend and someone would call monday for followup repair. No one called monday. I called Tues am, talked to Charlie, apparently the owner, who said he would look into it and call me back. No one ever called back. Wed, no one called. thurs i called another shop, person came out, looked over the situation, said he could fix it, and is scheduled to put in a new evap coil tomorrow, Saturday, 8 days after Seruntine was out here. Apparently Seruntine did not want the job, but rather than tell me that honestly, they put me off with saying they would call later, without ever doing so. The house has been so hot in the afternoons, with abut 9 days of heat inside, i have developed heat rash on the back of both knees. The freon Seruntine put in , which i was charged $180 for, as best i can tell from the bill, lasted 2 days before the system was back to poor performance, $90 per day, would have been cheaper to just stay in a motel to avoid the heat. I do not want a resolution of this with Seruntine. I have a resolution, which is going somewhere else.
