They guy ended up talking to my wife for $900 worth of electrical changes saying that we have some problems in our box that's going to make the house burn down. We got it all resolved because we called them and they came out the next day. It was a bad experience. I used them again out of desperation. The guy came out and really didn't do anything. It was a breaker box and he left the door open. He took fuses out and left them outside of the box. I called the manager out so the next day they came back and fixed it. I wouldn't use Mister Sparky again. They never fixed the plug. It was a bad service. They came out on time.
Description of Work: They came in and fixed a light switch. I used them again for my apartment in New Orleans because I needed to get some electrical work done. I was trying to get a plug fixed.

Description of Work: Dave from Mister Sparky came out the day before Thanksgiving to give us an estimate on installing can lights in the kitchen, installing an exterior light on a back porch that didn't have one before, and making about a dozen other repairs and upgrades to outlets, lights, and fixtures in our 85 year-old home. He was willing to start work right away, but we were preparing for a family dinner and that he come back on Friday. He was there bright and early. They cut holes in our ceiling and installed can lights, and did so without creating any dust or mess. They replaced fixtures, repaired switches and outlets, and worked steadily until it was all done. They left the house as clean or cleaner than it was before. Everything works well, Dave and his assistant were personable and polite, and we couldn't be more pleased.

The technician was prompt, friendly, professional, and didn't mind my crazy dogs. He found the problem quickly and gave me a run-down of my options to fix it. It ended up being an easy fix and b/c it was done so fast, he lowered the price to reflect that.

+ 0 moreDave was a top notch electrician in my opinion. He initially came out to do what he could but had to return after I purchased light fixtures for the outside porch. Both visits were scheduled and on time. I will not hesitate to call Mister Sparky for any future electrical needs.
Description of Work: After 2 attempts to contact a local electrician and no response, i chose Mr. Sparky due to the outstanding ratings & reviews on Angies List. Dave was sent to our home. He was punctual, professional, and a joy to deal with. He changed a couple of our foyer fixtures to LEDs and replace our porch fixtures He also replaced our microwave hood lights with LEDs.

Description of Work: A Mister Sparky electrician performed the electrical piece for the installation of a spa tub. While he was at my home, I asked him questions about other electrical issues I was having. He was extremely professional, gave me estimates for the work, and was actually able to do the work on the spot. In addition, he pointed out and fixed a dangerous, and potentially costly, problem with my circuit breaker box.

+ 0 moreHe was very kind and careful. Unfortunately the wasp that stung him was not. Ugh. He said it came out so fast and he was not even near it so maybe had babies? Got some alcohol and put on sting and he said felt better when he left. So sorry for that happening! Our trash pickup was the day he came and the trash can was sitting near his truck and on his way back he brought it and put in front of my garage door where I keep it. What a nice thing to do for someone! Beyond anyone's expectations! He will be blessed for that and I so appreciate him! All in all, well done young man, well done! Would definitely hire again but will get rid of the wasp first! Can't thank you enough for your kind an professional services!
Description of Work: I contacted Mister Sparky on 8/8, received a reply on the 11th, Dave came out to discuss the price that was fair and made an appointment for today. Willie came out today and replaced both GFI’s in bathrooms and one out door GFI and clear dome type cover was added for protection from rain and kids. Had a regular three prong plug replaced with one GFI in kitchen where the garbage disposal is and had new cover put on to accommodate it. Had 2 phone plates covered with flat plates so no kids could play with it as then are not in use or turned on. The work/plugs are covered for years and I can give them to new home owners and will be covered for them as well. Very nice!

He was friendly and polite, and listened carefully to the list of work that I needed done. It was a very hot day for outside work, but Sam was committed to getting it all done in one visit. I really appreciated this because now my other contractors can come during the week and I don't have to worry about interference. I didn't comment on the price, because I didn't entertain other offers to compare theirs to.
Description of Work: Installed outdoor ceiling fan, ran power for the same; new outlet in floor inside; installed new outlet outside for fountain.

+ 0 moreWe called Mr Sparky and he came over right away which was unbelievable. He came right over and took care of the pools. It was less than 200$. The price was very reasonable. I can't think of any problem. We called them and I think they were here within about thirty minutes. Thats really quick I can't believe it. They came very quickly and the price was very reasonable. Reasonable by the fact that they were there within the thirty minutes.

+ 1 moreWe've used them repeatedly. Although they're a bit pricey their work is quite good. I spent $2000 on their last visit. The project lasted a full day. The worker came on the weekend. He was prompt and you wouldn't know he was there, he was very clean.
Description of Work: I used Mister Sparky in early February to put in security lights, went through and checked every outlet in the building and put in some breakers.

Description of Work: Dave came out Installed a device I had to monitor all Entergy that my house using. He was very nice, honest, and on time! They worked really quick and made sure that the device I had them install worked. A few hours later Dave called back and said that he thinks that he should have installed the device on the main breaker even though my directions in the booklet for the neurio device said the breaker panel. I will write another review for this because he was so honest !

+ -1 moreThe person Mr. Sparkey sent to us was amazing. He had been recruited by them from up North because he said they couldn't find anyone suitable for the company here in Louisiana. He was extremely polite and professional and very thorough. The breaker box outside was basically an antique and had to be replaced. Dave, the electrician , explained everything that had to be done and why. It was an all day affair. He also dealt with Entergy, had them come out and fix their problem. He came back to double check on everything and walked through the house to check everything inside. For such a lot of work, it wasn't that much of a hassle for us.
Description of Work: They replaced the breaker box, they got in touch with Entergy and arranged to have them come out and fix the problem on their end.
