The technician, Christian, was very knowledgeable, friendly and well spoken. He arrived to our appointment early and finished the job in a timely fashion. We plan to hire this company in the very near future. I would highly recommend this company.

They were great! I had guests arriving in a few days and needed an electrical problem solve ASAP. They moved schedules around, fit me in and fix the problem in the most timely manner of any service provider I have used in NOLA. Mr. Sparky is my new preferred electrical contractor.

Superb...immediate response, immediate service, incredibly professional and impeccable manners. They saved my entire holiday weekend with an emergency breaker sparking, etc. I was terrified...Brian answered the phone gave me sound, calming and sage insight...sent Christian, the loveliest professional I have ever seen...solved the problem in an hour...WONDERFUL!!! Excellent pricing too - incredibly reasonable...

I called Mr. Sparky, along with other electric companies, to get an estimate for running electricity to my free-standing carport. Brian came out and was very courteous and professional. Out of every electric company we called, Mr. Sparky was the only one who provided us with an estimate on-the-spot. From there we were experiencing a time crunch, since we had a crew coming to set concrete in two days. I called Mr. Sparky, and Brian fit me into his schedule, putting the conduit into the ground before the concrete was put down. They were willing to work with my schedule to connect the electricity at a later date, and Donna was very communicative with me. On the scheduled date to complete the work, Donna called to apologize that Brian was running late (a first in my experience). She gave an approximate time he would arrive, and, believe it or not, he did. I have no complaints against this company. They are top-notch in customer service, communication, and quality. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Called on Thursday, January 12. Spoke to Bryan (professional and courteous). Told me someone would be here at around 2 o'clock the next afternoon. They would call before they came.(They did). Christian called at 12:00 the next day to see if 1:15 would be o.k. He came - explained the cost - installed the 2 flood lights and left no mess. He accepted my $30.00 coupon from Angie's list. He was clean cut and professional. Very nice young man. This was my first experience with someone from Angie's List and I am really pleased. Plan on using them again within the next 3 weeks.

Christian came out, fixed the wire and mounted the fans for me. He was thorough in both his explanations and his work. I was impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. I will use Mister Sparky again.

I called late Friday, described the problem to a knowledgeable and sympathetic electrician, was called back as promised Monday, set up appointment on Tuesday. The electrician arrived on time, quickly located and repaired the problem, replacing 5 breakers in one panel at a reasonable cost, and left a written estimate for replacement of the panel, should we wish to do so down the road. He also evaluated the adequacy of the amperage of the house. We are happy to find a such a good company and will definitely use them in the future. I recommend Mr. sparky without reservation.

Christain can as expected. Looked over the house and told me the different options I have for my needs. He them gave me a qoute. I asked about the Angie's coupon and he said he can remove the discount off the amount. He was friendly and professional. The job was neat, quick and just how I wanted it. He did a great job!

I placed the call to them to make an appointment today at approximately 9am. The scheduler said they could be at my house by 11am today. I told them that it needed to be after 12 o'clock. She said they could make it about 12:30. She called back at about 12:15 and informed me that he was runnning late on the previous job and would not be here until 1pm. I told her that would be perfect. I appreciate them keeping me informed. I was thrilled that they could work me in on the day I called. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He was very polite and friendly. I recommend them highly.

We were painting in a room and removed one of the outlet covers and a spark and smoke came out of the outlet. Also, in the adjacent room some outlets stopped working and some lights did not work. Reset breaker and it that did not help. The next morning we heard some crackling noises coming from breaker box so we wanted a professional to come out and look at everything. I called Mister Sparky at around 8:00 AM in the morning and explained my issue. They said they could have a technician come out around 10:00 AM that day and they would give me a call once they complete their earlier work order. Close to 10 AM the technician Christian called and said he would be on his way and be there in about 30 minutes. Sure enough at 10:30 he showed up. Christian was very nice, polite and professional. After explaining our issue to him he explained Mister Sparkey's fees. They charge by the job and not by the hour and they have different levels of service. He gave me the price for the service level this job requires and informed me if he finds out the service has to go beyond that level to complete he would let me know first. I liked this since there was no sticker shock in the end after the job was complete. Christian replaced the GFI outlet and also took the panel off the breaker and looked it over. He found one breaker box was loose and so he tightened down all the screws. He showed me exactly what to look for under the breaker boxes and he found some "browning" but nothing to be concerned about. One of the breakers tripped while he was working on it and he could not get it to reset so he also replaced it. He explained all the work completed and wrote up the service order. I paid by local check. I felt much more comfortable with a professional looking at the breaker and replacing the outlet. I printed out an Angie's list coupon for $30 off which he also accepted. Christian did a great job and I would recommend Mister Sparkey to anyone who needs immediate electrical help and wants a professional and polite technician to come out.

The work has turned out beautiful. They do a real nice job. We have been very pleased. The quality of the work is perfect. They are very professional and they call ahead of time.

Professional and efficient use of time. Asked for a quote on replacing the electrical box and he quoted $500 less then his competitor on your list. Keeping in mind it's not "apples to apples". Considered him to be an expert and trusted his opinion. Will hire him for the next project.

When I called they showed up about 1 hour later, i explained what I needed, they gave me an estimate, I agreed and changed the plug and breaker and was finished within an hour. I was thrilled, from the time of the call to being finished in 2 hours. Call these guy they are GREAT! I forgot to give them the coupon that I printed and they gave me another coupon for 25$. the only drawback is it expires in 6 months.

The guy was very nice.It was quick, I just called and they were here. He didn't try to make me do work I didn't need. He just checked the amp and noticed it was at the wrong level. The first thing he did was check the amp and he was able to show me why it was tripping.

Contrary to the first appointment we arranged, which was set for three days later, Mister Sparky managed to send someone within a couple of hours of my call! I was not in a rush, but appreciated their attention and timeliness arrival at the work location. The electrician arrived ahead of schedule, dressed professionally and clean-cut, driving an immaculate, well-organized van. Yet contrary to what I was initially told - that all work would be discussed before starting and a summary cost (from a pricing catalog each driver keeps) would be issued - I did NOT get a quote before work started. If I had known how expensive this job would turn out, I would NOT have hired Mister Sparky (sorry). Although I told the owner that this job involved lights under a 2nd story eave, the first technician came with a ladder several feet too short to reach them safely. So another technician had to be summoned (the owner, who was not far away) since he had a longer ladder; he stayed the entire time, but did no work and so did not charge extra to be there. I had already done much preliminary testing (good fuse, hot at switch, switch ON, etc.), so their "troubleshooting" was limited to testing one junction box in attic, the exterior photocell, and voltage at the fixture. As (bad) luck would have it, the first fixture had blown out - replacing the bulb didn't help - so I was forced to go to Lowe's for a replacement fixture, which took the electrician three screws and two wire nuts to replace, in about 5 minutes, once I returned. They were idle for the 15-20 minutes I was gone. Luckily, I had bulbs for the remaining fixtures, which was all they needed. Changing those out took about 6 minutes apiece, and the job was done. Simple, right? Total work time (including waiting for ladder and my Lowe's trip): 2.5 hours on a Friday Final bill: $467 which included $59 for "travel", $99 for "troubleshooting", $199 for changing fixture, $110 for changing two bulbs. And these were their "Club Prices" (whatever that means)! In my mind, and that of others I've polled, this should have been a sub-$300 job at worst, and my former (independent) electrician would have charged about $90, so the high charge greatly exceeded my preconceptions! A call to the owner confirmed that I may have been overcharged slightly, and that I had not been granted the $30 discount offered to first-time customers (which the first electrician had twice assured me he would honor). So they lowered the charge (to my credit card) to just under $400. Much as I love a timely, professional crew, unless I win the lottery, I cannot afford to do business with Mister Sparky again in the future. In this case, had I known their pricing ahead of time, I'd have thanked them for coming, and then done the job myself, using my own ladder and manpower.

I didn't have direct contact with them. However, they had taken off a faceplate from one of the light switches, and the guy left the unit open. When I came home, it was not put on. I called them, and they came back and put it together. That was very impressive. The price was very reasonable.

Excellent service. Was mindful of this extra unexpected expense. Super fast service as well.
