Mister Sparky

Jason and Robert were excellent. They were punctual and professional. They investigated all the items brought up by the inspector. They went above and beyond what was asked of them and helped me with a few items at my condo. They were very efficient and very kind. I would definitely recommend them to others.

They actually sent out two people and they completed the work quickly. They gave me an accurate estimate before they started the work. They have a preset list of cost of each thing they do and they stick to that.

We purchased a big deal. The experience went fine. They were very professional and came in with the device as ordered & on schedule. We had no problem at all.

The tech arrived on time after a confirmation call. He took time and after evaluating my access to electricity, he informed me that he had to wire in my roof and the deal would cost $100 more. The fine print in the ad explained that and I did expect to have to pay more. I actually was surprised that it was only $100 extra. He did the work quickly and did a superb job. He explained the workings and settings and set it to my preferences for me. The light has been a much needed bit of security and gives me peace of mind. It would have been perfect except for one thing, my electric box outside my home had sustained some rust and damage from Isaac. I asked him to give me a quote to replace the box and circuit breakers and he quickly came back with $3 to $4 THOUSAND dollar estimate! I swallowed hard and tried not to seem shocked and sent him on his way with a "I'll call if I decide to do that" I since have spoken to 2 contractors and 1 electrician who all told me they would have to come to my home to give a firm estimate but they said it should absolutely be under $900. Like I said, I was very very satisfied with everything else; this just left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if he or I misunderstood, but it was shockingly high if it was an accurate quote.

An initial assessment was done and after price shopping and because of Chri's professionalism and knowledge I choose Mr. Sparky.

.I had a new electric water heater installed -- but the plumber recognized that it wasn't operating properly. I called the company and an electrician arrived in 20 minutes. He properly diagnosed the problem and gave me two estimates for corrective services. From start to completion the Jason was completely professional and very courteous. Now, the coup de gras was that I had a service call with another electrician two days earlier for a problem that evidently was a precursor to the water heater issue. He did not recommend the services that Jason identified -- which in turn caused me not to call him for this job. I am satisfied with the service I received from Mr. Sparky.

The gentleman showed up on time and was extremely courteous. He answered all of my questions and gave me pricing on the spot. They have some pricing book that they follow which determines your price. Unforntuately changing wall outlets was not in the book and so the charge was going to be $50 per outlet, That was quite high compared to the other contractors that I had come out.

The experience was excellent overall. I thought that what I needed was an outdoor flood light, but I also wanted a timer for my porch light. I hadn't provided the 2nd detail in my service request, but the electrician was able to take care of that work while he was on site.

I purchased the 'Big Deal' certificate for Mister Sparky from Angie's List after speaking with Donna at Mister Sparky's. Donna was very helpful and scheduled my appointment within a week. I appreciated the reminder call from her the afternoon prior to my appointment with the electrician's name. Jason was the electrician who did the job at my house. He was very professional and went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted. (i.e., I was able to replace the high pressure sodium light with a better quality HPS light for an additional fee. But I got what I really wanted!) The reason I rated punctuality with a 'B" is because my appointment was for 8:30 a.m. but he did not arrive until about 9:06 a.m. However, the service I received was excellent, and I would definitely use Mister Sparky again.

I previously used another electrician. I could not get them to give me an appointment to do a repair. I gave up and called Mr. Sparky. They gave me an appointment for the following day. One guy showed up on time, explained their fair and unterstanadable pricing system. I agreed. They stuck to the pricing and gave me credit for their Angie's List coupon.

Showed up on time. Very professional and cleaned up his mess as he completed the jobs. Will use him again.

WORK PERFORMED FROM START TO FINISH WAS PROFESSIONAL. THE SERVICE AGENT ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME, I NEVER EXPERIENCED THE STAFF BEING LATE AT MY RESIDENCE FOR THE SERVICE CALL. THE ELECTRICIAN EXPLAINED ANY QUESTION THAT I HAD CONCERNING MY ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WITH A HONEST AND PRAGMATIC APPROACH. I NEVER FELT THE JOB WAS RUSHED JUST TO SATISFY ANOTHER SERVICE CALL DEADLINE. IN MY OPINION , SPARKY ELECTRICAL SERVICE ON A SCALE OF 1-10 WITHOUT RESERVATIONS IS A 10. AGAIN, IT WAS A PLEASURE. DR. We needed real emergency service to provide baseboard outlet electrical service to Super Bowl guests staying at our bed & breakfast in the French Quarter. Mister Sparky electricians arrived within two hours of our call for help (we had tried without success to get service from electricians we'd used previously). The electricians conducted an inspection, carefully explained pricing levels and potential costs, and then set about identifying the problem and making the repair (it involved crawling under the house). They also provided an estimate for additional work that would improve service in some of our rental units. We were very pleased with the responsiveness, and with the courteous and professional service provided ... Mister Sparky saved the day. They'll move to the top of our call list for electrical problems.

Bryan was punctual and very professional as usual. He got to work as he was inspecting the work to be done. Left the job clean and sparkling after it was done.

I was having some unusual intermittent outages in half of my house for a few days before I called Mr. Sparky. I explained the situation and remarked that I was supposed to cook the main dish for a super bowl party and that this electrical situation affected my use of the oven. The lady on the phone laughed with me about this and workded to get someone out to my house the same day. I really appreciated the effort by the representative on the phone and the workmanship by the electrician.

This is a fantastic company. Extremely professional. Outstanding employees. I even got an estimate for more work. I purchased lights. They installed the light without any problems. They even honored a coupon I recieved from the previous work. Absolutely PERFECT.

After calling several electrical companies they were by far the most professional. I called to set up appt for quote.They came out to my house within a week. They were the only company to give me an estimate on the spot. They were timely, efficient and professional. The additional lighting looks great, and I would highly recommend this company!
