Very skilled and fast.

We hired Mister Sparky to replace our outdated electrical system. The salesman was Greg and he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were helpful when it came to adding extra features, like a special connection box to connect my generator to the new panel. We had no problems with any of the work and would not hesitate to hire them again. Best of all, they were super quick, so my family was not stuck without power for a long time. They did the whole thing in one day!

Was so impressed by Arthur's knowledge, demeanor, and quality of work that I am 100% using him again in the next few months with another project.

What a wonderful experience! Dave was very knowledgeable and clearly took pride in his work. He installed a chandelier and then moved two outlets. He cleaned up after himself and didn't mind the dogs even a little bit. He was very friendly and showed up on time and worked efficiently! We will definitely be using this electrician in the future!

Very timely service

I contacted Mister Sparky to evaluate and repair electrical issues with a breaker, outlets and canned lighting at a property I manage. Someone contacted me immediately, gave me a reasonable visit fee quote and scheduled the technician for the very next morning. They were prompt, communicated very well throughout the process and completed the work swiftly. The pricing was reasonable and quoted to me in detail before the work began. It's great to know I have an electrician I can trust for my clients properties and my own. I'm thrilled they were willing to go to Slidell and work in New Orleans as well. Great company!!

He did exactly what he said he would do. Cost was pricy but he was efficient. His prices were printed and laminated so there was no question of him trying to increase the price based on a whim. I really appreciate it. He was prompt, right in time, and came in less than an hour. Thanks a bunch!

We hired Mister Sparky to replace some bulbs in high-bay light fixtures. I'm not sure if these are electricians or used car salesmen. I was talked into upgrading to LED lights but when I asked why the old bulbs were 41,000 lumens and the new ones were 13,200 I was told incandescent lumens are different from LED lumens... ummm no. A lumen is a lumen just like an inch is an inch. My garage is now a dark place during the day. They go around your house looking for things to replace. I agreed to let them replace my outdoor fixtures at a cost of $77 each for a total of over $1,000 with tax. It took them less than one minute per fixture and guess what? I discovered their cost was $9 a fixture. At that rate I paid them about $1,400 an hour. They forgot two of them. I replaced those myself in less than four minutes and a cost of less than $20 for the identical fixtures. I feel totally and completely robbed and my good nature taken advantage of. If they did this to me what are they doing to the elderly? My original estimate was about $1,800. The final bill including what I had to pay for the lights ended up being over $4,000! The techs were very nice and I am sure they are trained by Mister Sparky to hustle whatever money they can. I will never deal with them again as I believe in paying a fair price for work done but their prices were so astronomical and I felt as though I was in a car dealership with salesperson and finance guy trying to constantly get me to pay more. Yes, I feel ripped off.
