Description of Work: I have used them over 20 years because their service and quality of work is AMAZING. Now, they charge a little more than other companies I could use, but the other companies don't do it right. Lightning does it right the first time. Their appointment time is never too long of a wait and they send the same representative every time for your home. They have changed old electrical parts in our 44 year old home. They update outlets and have put chandeliers in for me. Anything you need, they perform excellent, quality work. I think they're probably the best in the city.

Description of Work: I had an AC leak from the attic that went to the upstairs. They went up there and replaced everything. Very professional, quick, efficient, and great. They fixed the problem right away.

Description of Work: A/C went out on a Friday night, and they were there in no time to fix the problem. Came back to do routine maintenance and replace a part. Very happy with the service. Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and very helpful. Will continue to use and recommend them.

Description of Work: Their technician came to my home to do an assessment for a whole-house generator and then to give me a final estimate of cost. It's been over two months and we have not heard a peep from this company. The guy spent over an hour at my house, roaming around, and putting info into his laptop. I am incredulous that they don't want to have our business since they've not bothered to follow up and give us an estimate.

Description of Work: After I purchased the $99.00 electrician from Angie's List special and saw how good their electrical side of the business was, I made an appointment to get a bid for a whole house generator. What a difference from day to night. The rep that came to talk to me about the generator was a complete a**. He refused to give me a bid and gave me a range of costs between $9,000 and $13,000 for a 20kw Generac generator. These costs were not even in the ballpark for what the successful bidder charged. What a jerk. He then even refused to put the $9k - $13 estimate into a bid. This side of the Lightning Service, Inc. business should be run out of town on a rail.

Description of Work: Roy was the BEST! Very polite, & professional. He installed a ceiling fan, and a light fixture in my stairwell. He also took time to check out some other questionable electrical problems and either quickly took care of the issue or told me what i could do to resolve it. Cleaned up so all that was left was a satisfied customer!

 + -1 moreThey were very professional. They gave me an estimate. When they came to do the work they laid carpets down where they were working and wore booties so they didn?t track in any dirt. Because it was a weekend I had to wait 3 days for them to come over, they let me use window units for free until they could fix my air conditioner. I thought that was pretty nice! Their follow up was nice. They called me to ask if I was satisfied with their work and was everyone courteous. I would hire them again.
