Description of Work: I have an antique baby grand piano that needs restoration work. One of their technicians came to my home to assess what needed to be done. He arrived promptly and was very personable. He explained everything that needed repair and told me Mr. Wright, one of the owners, would call me later with an estimate. Mr. Wright called within two hours and discussed the restoration with me. There was no charge for the technician's visit. I live in Mandeville, and the technician was from Metairie, so coming to a client's home at such a distance was not easy. I appreciated their professionalism and willingness to take such time with a potential client.

 + -1 moreI used Hall Piano's movers for a cross-town move in July. The guys were wonderful. It was pouring rain! They waited an hour for it to let up, and then managed to carry the piano through mud and water without the slightest mishap. The price was the best I found and I will definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreThese guys are awesome. Dwight is the person at Hall who scheduled the move. What a friendly and knowledgeable man. Jerry and his crew did the move. They were careful and meticulous in the manner in which they prepared the piano for moving as well as during the move itself. They knew exactly what they were doing. A professional operation all the way around. I recommend these folks highly.

 + -1 moreI called three movers and got the following quotes: Hall Paino Co.: $145 Arthur Perez Movers: $275 Classic Piano Rentals and Movers: $175 I chose Hall Piano Co. because they were the least expensive, and they were great. I called around 9am, and they told me they could have the piano at my house around noon the same day. The driver called when he was on his way to Renaissance to let me know their status. They arrived at my house promptly at noon and were gone by 12:15pm. I got the base rate because the piano is a small upright, and I only have four steps leading up to my front door. They may charge more for bigger pianos, more stairs.
Description of Work: Hall Piano moved a Baldwin Acrosonic piano from Renaissance Interiors to my home in Old Metarie.
