This was a difficult job because Bill was working in a tight space trying to disconnect the manual pull cord to examine it and determine the problem. He was determined to get the cord off and did so. I would recommend Bill to any and all ..he was a consumante professional.

I had a small chest of drawers that was badly water damaged on the bottom from sitting on a wet carpet (a situation that I was unaware of). I had Bill come over an take a look at it to see if I could at least just salvage it to make it sit up straight because it matched some other pieces of a bedroom set I had.. He said he could repair it. I was not expecting it to ever look anywhere near the original condition as a large chunk of the bottom had to be replaced. When he returned with the chest I could not believe what a great job he did. If I didn't tell anyone that it had ever been damaged they would never know. He pieced in some new wood on the bottom and even stained it to match the rest of the piece. I would definitely use his service again and highly recommend him to anyone with a furniture repair project.

I am extremely happy with the installation of the new mechanism to my favorite recliner. He was prompt--cost was exactly what I was quoted--and he took good care of the leather to be sure it was put back correctly, because some had to be removed in order to replace the mechanism. I HIGHLY recommend Expert Furniture Repair.

I moved here from Houston, and one of the legs broke during the move. The glass was crooked even before the move. He had to cut a new brace for the back of the leg, re-glue it and replace missing screws. He also removed the wheels and replaced them with felt pads. One wheel had broken, and they were unnecessary and unsightly. While he was working on it, he went ahead and re-glued the other legs as they were also wobbly. He did a superb job, and took a lot of trouble to make sure the glass stayed secure while the cabinet was laid on its back for the repair. He then repositioned the glass panels, which have been slightly askew ever since I got the cabinet. Note that he came out the same day I called, gave me an estimate, and returned the following day to do the repair. He does quality work, and I will definitely call him when I am ready to have some other pieces repaired.

I liked that they were easy to work with and reasonably priced. They worked with me to save money on the repair.
