Earl's is an A++++ from the moment you pick up the phone to the manner in which the job is done (plus they follow up!) The job was quoted at over $650 with another local company, but Early's very clearly explained that was only one potential way to fix the problem and it may in fact be more work than is really needed to fix the issue. The tech laid out two scenarios 1. It's a small part easily accessible and done in 30 min 2. The problem is further in the plumbing, which requires more work but still straightforward and done in 60 min. The two jobs were quoted at $130 and $250, after our initial quote I was over the moon and happy to pay $250 no matter what happened. To their credit when the tech discovered it was the quicker fix he explained it to me and charged me the $130 (I would have had no way to know which one it was and would have gladly paid the higher, but real honesty was refreshing). The only downside to working with Earl's is they are so darn good you often have to wait...hey they're the best so you have to wait an extra few days. I joined Angie's List specifically because I was having a terrible time finding reliable, honest plumbers-no longer a problem. I have recommended Earl's to anyone who would listen ever since.

Broken pipe under my deck. Obviously they were swamped because of the freeze in New Orleans but they were able to come out 2 days after my initial call while other companies said up to 2 weeks!This is my 2nd timwe using them. I would definitely use them again.

I had a water coming through my wood floors every time I drained the sink. 2 different plumbers from other companies told me the problem was coming from older my slab and they would have to tunnel under my house. The advised me to file a claim through my H/O insurance company. They were very adamant about getting my insurance information, but I didn't fill comfortable. Earl's plumbing was referred to me by 3 different people and band of neighbor's. They were my last call. They asked me what was going on and when I explained it to them they went straight to the problem. The broken pipe that 2 other companies misdiagnosed as being under my house wanting to charge upwards of $2500-7000 to fix, ended up costing over $500 with earl's. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They went straight to the problem inside my wall, patched it back neatly with card board until I repair it, and threw in some extra repairs. I was relieved and elated! They are now my forever plumbers!

Called when on his way, a couple hours after calling for appt. accepted $30 Angie's List coupon. Glenn was very professional and polite. Glenn ran the drain snake tool from roof vent to clear line. My house is back from the street a little way, so after extending his snake all the way with no success, he called a co-worker who was working at Copland's, and went to get a commercial grade drain snake. (He didn't charge for the time it took to get the larger tool). He came back with the co-worker and larger tool, and had to run it down the drain several times to finally clear all the gunk that had been building up over the years. Charged for 3 hours work, minus the $30.00 Angie's list coupon. $245.00. Cleaned up everything and the drains are working perfectly.

n In a culture where consumer service is lack luster , I was overwhelmed with the entire experience we had with Earl's. Following a home inspection to facilitate sale of our home , we ended up with a list of non compliance code issues. We had dealt with three other services related to the other items on the list and were feeling as if we had been locked in a room with used car salesmen for a month! it would be an understatement to say we felt like sitting ducks with a check book , vulnerable to many who came to our home to clear the to do list from electricians to painters. The last on the list was the vent pipe. We called Earl's after I saw reviews on Angie's list. The contact person was astute, friendly, efficient and recognized our anxiety and urgency related to Inspections. She scheduled prompt service and even directed us to coupon on Angie's site. The Next morning two men arrived after notifying per phone they would be arriving within 20 minutes. They were organized, and explained in detail the work to be done and estimate. 45 minutes later , for a fair and reasonable cost , the pipe had been extended , double walled and up to code. We were very pleased with everything . They restored our faith in decency of the service industry . I want to also say that during the instillation , the provider identified a potential issue that could arise for us later if not handled. For NO ADDITIONAL COST , the provider generously , and thoughtfully assisted with resolving this issue that was NOT necessarily their service goal . They went way above and beyond to provide a competent , pleasant , and successful consumer experience. I will always use them if needed in the future and have told all my friends and family .

I asked for an .appointment thru Angie's List messages and they called me by phone immediately and made the appointmen for the next day. When the plumbers arrived, they gave me an estimate which I agreed to, and then they proceeded to fix the toilet. The bill was for the same amount of the estimate. They were very courteous and they cleaned up the area upon completion. I was very pleased.

I called Earl's on a Monday and they came out the next day. They called 30 minutes before their arrival so that I could leave work and meet them. They arrived on time and were courteous and professional and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Both drains are working marvelously. The price was reasonable and excellent with the Angie's list coupon. I recommended them to my sister and she was pleased with their work as well. Thank you Earl's!

They called and arrived promptly. They explained to us exactly what was needed, brought in minimal equipment and performed the job. They made minimal mess and cleaned that. They were courteous quick and respectful of our home. I do believe they left the counter underneath the sink cleaner than they found it!

Could not have been better. Appt scheduled right away and tech arrived on time.Tech quickly determined that what we thought was a horrendous, expensive plumbing ordeal was a simple change to toilet tank parts. Something we could do ourselves. He gave clear instructions and left -- no charge. Professional, courteous, fair, honest. We not only will call Earl's in the future, we won't call anyone else!

I called Earl's for an estimate on the installation of a shower valve and acrylic tub. Sharon was friendly and very helpful and scheduled Bob and Leroy to come out. I like the fact that the plumber that is going to do the job also does the estimate. After they arrived for the estimate, I was told it would be a few days for the written estimate. I received the estimate and scheduled Earl's to do the job after receiving a fair price. Earl's arrived as scheduled and began work to install a bathtub and plumb a shower valve. All demo was done so they had a clean and open workspace. Bob and Leroy began just before 8am. They reworked the existing ABS plumbing and installed a tub complete with a ledger board and a mortar bed. A new shower valve was plumbed as well as replacing a toilet flange and ABS drain fitting for the sink. Bob and Leroy finished the job, without issues, just after noon. They both are friendly and do not mind answering questions. I recently had them install the shower trim. Again, no issues. I highly recommend Earl's as they are punctual, efficient, clean, and do fine work.

Called Earls Plumbing, explained could not flush both toilets when it rains because the toilets backup. Told them I had tunneling done under the house 11 years ago and pipes under slab and in yard were replaced. Receptionist was knowledgeable and said, from the information I gave her, it might be a problem with the city. Had two other plumbers come out, explained what is going on when it rains, and they both said the problem is with the city. In order to have proof(DVD), I requested Earls Plumbing to run their camera under the slab and in yard. All three companies are right. The problem is with the city.

I was called by my tenant when she received an extremely high water bill. My home warranty service had someone come out to check on the problem. They found the leak but stated repair would entail jack-hammering the concrete slab of my house for repair at a charge of $2450. I felt this was way too much and drastic. I looked on Angie's List for the best reviews and found Earl's Plumbing. Although their plumbers were out on jobs, they referred me to a leak detection specialist who came by the house within 72 hrs of calling. Immediately after the leak was detected I received a call from Earl's to schedule a time when a plumber could come by. They stated that if they were able to fish out the leak the cost would be $990. If they had to cut into the slab the cost was going to run about $1500. This was significantly less than the plumbing company which was referred to me by the home warranty company. To my surprise, the leak was able to be fixed by fishing the pipe. I gladly paid the balance for both the second leak detection and the work by Earl's. They mailed a receipt which also detailed the fixes. We were able to handle all of this over the phone without a significant glitch. I would highly recommend Earl's to be the first choice for anyone who wants professional plumbing and service at a reasonable price. I looked at the reviews for the other company and understand why they receive such low scores from Angie's List members. Thank you Angie's list for leading me in the right direction!

We called them out to replace an old shut off water valve to the house. The technician didn't have the part but was able to give an estimate and suggest an upgraded shut off valve. While there we had him check on and he repaired a leaking outside faucet, clogged kitchen sink and a leaking bathroom sink. Will be calling them in the future to finish original repair. Overall happy with price and services performed.

everything went very smoothly

I wasn't there when they actually did the work but my renter said that everything went fine. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were just alittle behind the schedule that they gave me but not anything to be upset about. Maybe 45 min or so. I used the Angies list coupon and got a nice discount.

OK. Called and said they were on their way and showed up over one hour later. Did not call in between. I thought the price was expensive.

Excellent job, It was a very old toilet (1956) . he was able to remove it, clean up the flange, and install the new toilet with no modifications. Workspace was clean and he removed all old parts and debris. Highly recommend,

VERY PROFESSIONAL and reasonably priced compared to other plumbers we have used in the past. They reworked some challenging plumbing lines and did a beautiful job. We buy investment properties and we will use them on all of our remodeling jobs in the future.

They came very quickly. They performed the service efficiently. They charged the minimum that they could.

They redid all the plumbing in the bath like the sinks and the rough ins. They were amazing and the work was very nice.
